We were biking down from Melk and back, so we stopped here for a refreshing glass of the famous area wines. We sat out on the deck overlooking the river and had a relaxing experience with a couple of great glasses. Would have had more if we didn't have to pedal back to Melk!

Staying at the Residenz-Wachau reminded me of staying in a traditional Austrian ski chalet. I stayed in the large 3-bed room which could accommodate up to 4 guests. This room in not located in the main lodge, and there my experiences may be different from other guests. My room was on the third floor (no elevator) in a building just... More

We booked two rooms online, upon arrival we received upgraded rooms due to the hotel being overbooked. One of the rooms had a bath tub in the room and a separate shower, but the plug for the bath was missing. We asked the very friendly staff for it twice, the third time the staff member - after asking his manger... More

We arrived in Aggsbach Dorf and I have to say the hotel and its views are beautiful. The staff were efficient and courteous initially on our arrival and we were shown to a very nice room (albeit an expensive one) with a view of the river. We ate in the hotel because local options are limited and there are few... More

I was here for the St Polten Ironman, and the staff here was more than welcoming and the hospitality was amazing! I felt like I was the only guest and that they catered to all my needs and requests. The breakfast was a great and the dinner was nothing short of spectacular. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone... More

Stayed here for one night on a Danube cycling holiday. Great facilities including a much welcome swimming pond [yes, not pool] and probably the best dinner and breakfast of our holiday. Another example of you get what you pay for, although at €115 a night for B&B for two, hardly a bank-buster.

The hotel has a large terrace overlooking the Danube and so it is a great place to stop for a meal as the food is very good . However, I would not recommend staying there unless you are stuck. It is expensive for what you get - a room with no soundproofing (we could hear the man in the next... More

Dear guests, thank you very much for your critic! We want you to know that we have changed a lot of things! We renovated the rooms, we have now high quality towels and the furniture isn´t broken! We are a garden hotel and the main building opens always at 8am, for everybody! But if our guests need their breakfast earlier... More
