Over all it's OK, but not for four daisies. The strong point is the indoor pool, as in the Sâmbăta de Sus area we found that there are only two guesthouses that have an indoor pool, one being Miruna. So, if you want the whole pool, you can stay here. It is quite clean, but the furniture is old and the small details make the difference.

Personally I didn't like the service. Pensiunea Miruna had several buildings, two that are a 10 minutes walk from the main building. We stayed there. In the bathroom there was a persistent smell from the canalisation. The room was ok, but the fact that we had to walk 10min in the morning for breakfast was not nice. On the other side our building was situated in the forest and had a great view. The breakfast is ok but the restaurant and the service are from century ago. We find that a lot better restaurant was at Pensiunea Poiana Izvorului close to the monastery.

I'm afraid this is one of those cases when the publicity is great, while reality is truly disappointing. Cleanliness, the attitude of the hosts and the food from time to time are the biggest problems. If you ask for something, they tell you that they have bigger problems than yours or they lie to your face, saying that it will be done, while never doing a thing about it. I can accept that they probably have a bad cook and a good one and that the administrators may have a bad day, but I cannot accept some of the issues they had with the rooms and which a cleaning personnel doing their job well would have noticed. This being said, I don't intend to go back.

Room never cleaned during our 6 days of accomodation. Rest over the day was really imposible. Same poor breakfast and dinner. Too expensive for what you receive back. During Covid19 period the cleaning personall is almost invisible.

We didn't have heat. They told us that the heat was on — we waited until midnight and the heater was not working. I called reception and they told me that it will be fixed but they didn't do it.
Breakfast food wasn't that good and it looked old. The rooms were a little bit expensive and that sucks

Great weekend, with great staff and amazing view towards the Fagaras Mountains. We enjoyed the traditional cuisine, very good food and plenty of offers. There is a SPA, with huge pool, clean water, sauna and massage. The resort is big and there are plenty of plqces to relax and enjoy. It is close to both Sibiu and Brasov, and there are a lot of activities in the area. There is no time to get bored !!

The host told us that are free rooms. When we arrived they send us to another place near about 1km, but the conditiona wasn’t the same like we see . I spent a wonderful weekend at the top Saturday. it snowed, we ate traditional food in the courtyard, mulled wine and campfire. We really liked how it was organized. The rooms are spacious with a large balcony. Very nice staff. I recommend this guesthouse.

Great location! We will definitely come back! We spend the winterholidays with very good and tasty traditional food. They have spacious room with balcony. Cleaning was done daily. Restaurant traditional with daily varied Swedish buffet. We like also the spa-good pool and sauna.

Really great place and good food. I also recommend the place for the great view of the Carpathian Mountains (Fagaras). The staff is friendly and joyful so it was a pleasure to be here together with my friends and family. The food was served really fast and it was delicious.
