I was attending a training course at this hotel, so stayed the night before. The room was lovely, recently refurbished I believe, and lovely modern bathroom. Food and service was good too, the only issue was the shower looked amazing with a rain head but only a dribble came out so washing hair was a little difficult. Service etc during... More

Me and my partner eat here regularly. Whether it's in the pub or the restaurant we are always delighted with the food and the service! I absolutely Love the place and would highly recommend it! In the colder months they have a lovely log fire which is so cozy. They have recently updated the decor too and it looks great

Apparently this placed has recently been redecorated, it looks ok, pity the food cannot be given the same rating. The drinks are very expensive - £6.69 for a large glass of Chardonnay! I ordered the slow roasted pork belly, my husband the gammon. The gammon was small, loads of fat on it and overcooked - the pork was ok but... More

Invited to a Sunday Lunch by friends (8) and quickly shown to our table. The first thing you notice is the space, lots of it so no cramming tables in to increase the numbers. The dining room is a lovely furnished extension to the Inn, very tasteful. Lovely staff made us feel welcome and the service was perfect. The costs... More

Everything about the evening was excellent. We were treated well by the very attentive staff on arrival. We were offered the choice of the set weekly meal or the al a carte menu. There 14 of us and the food arrived hot and all together. The quality was excellent and the quantity sufficient. There were no complaints and empty plates.... More

We visited last Saturday and ate in the restaurant. We had the special offer of 3 courses and a bottle of wine for £42. This is very good value. We were a party of 4. The pub was very busy with most people eating. Our main course of chicken was lovely, but the starter not as good as usual especially my... More

Emergency building work meant we reluctantly had to find accommodation for 4 nights. However, we enjoyed our stay in this lovely Inn and all the staff very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and we had our dog with us so we mostly had dinner in the beer garden but otherwise if the weather was bad we were allowed... More
