Stayed at Parkview hotel just over a week ago and have today the staff are brilliant. A well priced B&B offering great value for money. Breakfast really good, cooked fresh every morning. Thanks for a good stay.

This place has to be the worst establishment I've ever been to. We arrived and weren't allowed to enter before 5pm even with a poorly baby, so had to sit in car in car park, had to pay cash before seeing room, advised as we were leaving at 7 am we'd not get breakfast as they only serve it at... Not my typical hotel of choice or destination. Sometimes paying cheap can be the practical option and so the Park turned out to be just that. First impressions may not attract the average traveller like myself. I considered turning around or sleeping in the car,Just not here. Noisy hallways, unpleasant decor and the flickering lamp left a lot to the... More

We arrived 3pm to a very unwelcoming reception from the man. We're told that check in was 5pm. Don't think that was mentioned on the web site. Although our confirmation stated that. We were able to check in to a very old smelly family room for the two,of us. Think it smelt of cigarettes although No Smoking signs were everywhere.... More

Comfortable room ground floor as I'm disabled tv, kettle with supplies, ensuite wet room which was ideal. Breakfast was lovey staff were very friendly if your looking for luxury this isn't for you but if you want comfort and friendly staff and a ample breakfast for a reasonable price you can't go far wrong with this hotel. I would definitely... More

Staff extremely helpful, room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Free parking, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and colour tv. Single rooms are at the top of the building but as soon as the lady saw my walking stick she upgraded me to a ground floor room.

We had to pay our bill before even seeing the room! I'm so glad we were only there for the one night, we had booked two rooms next to each other, but ended up on separate floors. There was neither curtains nor blinds in the bathroom so we had to hang a towel up at the window. The wardrobe absolutely... More

Although I had been assured there was parking for disabled, it was unmarked and used by the hotel owner and taxi owner! I was able to park in the general car park but had to climb about 8 steep steps to get to main entrance. We had to wait some time for the door to be answered to allow us... More

I couldn't really complain with the service of the staff at this place because it was excellent the room had everything that was advertised as well as an extra bed. It was a bit hard to access our room because it had its own door around the side and up some steps at the side of the building. Good over... More
