This B&B had a soggy bed that could induce backache in anyone, a stuffy room where it wasn't possible to open the windows because of the road noise from the A38 and a bathroom the size of a closet. There wasn't a desk or surface to work on. There was a dressing table, but it was cluttered with all sorts... More

This B&B is very pleasant. Roy and Maureen the owners were helpful and the food was terrific and plentiful. We highly recommend staying with them. It's very convenient for anyone going to go on the Black Prince narrowboats.

Stayed here weekend of 14/11/2014 with my wife. From the moment I spoke to Maureen on the telephone to book, until we left, we found her and Roy helpful, courteousness and most friendly. We enjoyed our conversations with them and found them to be knowledgeable about the local area and the world in general. The room we stayed in was... More

I stayed two months at Avoncraft Guest House and it was a very comfortable time there. The owners are very nice people. They are very helpfull and give lots of recommendations for activities. The rooms are very fine and clean and you get all what you need. And last but not least the fantastic breakfast every morning. All in all... More

The proprietor was very rude and belligerent. He disrupted my visit with his rude and un-called for comments. I am a frequent visitor to the UK and the Bromsgrove area and I shall avoid his establishment in the future. I advise others to do so. He should not be in the business of tourism.

If you are travelling in the Bromsgrove area this is a good B&B . I was playing golf at Blackwell , 15 mins away. Very clean , plenty of parking. Friendly hosts Roy and Maureen. A very good selection for breakfast both hot and cold.

We had a great stay here recently when walking from Birmingham to Worcester, comfortable room and bed, friendly people running it and a superb breakfast to set us up for the rest of the walk. Would definitely recommend and so much better than a travelodge!

Stayed here for one night (Monday 5th May) while walking the Birmingham to Worcester Canal and being a Bank Holiday Monday, soon discovered I was the only guest on my arrival. The owners Roy and Maureen were delightful during my entire stay, advising me of the best places to eat VERY nearby, ever mindful to point the 'weary traveller' (walker)... More

I booked this guest house because it was near a family reunion and had such good reviews on Trip Advisor. The place was immaculate, rooms were delightful and our host, Roy, couldn't have been more helpful to us when we had to leave early. I would definitely stay there again next time we're in any part of the Midlands. Esmeralda

We arrived in Bromsgrove hoping to be able to find a bed for the night. Avoncroft exceeded our expectations! It was lovely in every way. We were wanting to stay after seeing War Horse in Birmingham. Avoncroft was easy to find on google, quick to answer and pleasant to talk to. The room had everything we needed with a very... More
