#1 of 4 hotels in Cobham
Travelers' Choice
A unique country house hotel in Surrey Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever. Situated near to Cobham and within easy access of London, this 57 bedroom hotel is set in landscaped grounds and gardens, making our hotel one of the most perfect wedding venues in Surrey. Offering a range of classic and executive bedrooms and suites, Woodlands Park has a choice of bedrooms to suit everyone. It has two great restaurants: the wood panelled Oak Room and the more contemporary Bensons Restaurant. The hotel also boasts excellent conference facilities as well as being the perfect training and meeting venue in Surrey. I am delighted to welcome you to Woodlands Park

I'm a novice whenit comes to Afternoon Tea, but I did enjoy my visit to Woodlands Park. It is an impressive building and the grounds are wonderful too. However, this afternoon the hotel was virtually empty and there was no buzz about the place. Service was mostly fine, although there were times when the witer could not be found - indeed it was difficult to find anyone!

I'm not quite sure why I like it so much. But It is a lovely place and the staff could not be nicer or more generous. We were upgraded to a spectacular room because it had just been my birthday. That must be it. The food is expensive but not particularly impressive. But a big thank you to all the staff the being so lovely.

We used this Hotel for our Wedding night 30 years ago, used it again for our 50th Birthday. The first place thought of to help us celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary This time upgraded to the Kings Chamber courtesy of the family. Arriving Post Covid, not sure what to expect, but a warm welcome as previously had. Efficient booking in and up to a very clean and sumptuous room. A view over the gardens and a Chess game just ended below. Seems Dogs are welcome too as one was with guests in the seated are below our window. Chocolates on arrival were lovely touch. Dinner later was a quiet affair but attention from the staff was just right. Steak was lovely. Breakfast the next morning again was well worth waiting for and again staff attention just right. I haven't had an omelette for a while- but that and my Husbands cooked full English was excellent I would like to thank the staff for their welcome and attention during our stay. Due to restrictions, reduced occupancy meant we had the best nights sleep in a hotel EVER! Thank you Woodlands Park, we will be back!

This is a gorgeous building steeped in history. We had our temperature taken on the way in then taken to the beautiful oak room. The atmosphere of this hotel is conducive to a peaceful and relaxing experience. We were looked after by a gent called Jait (I'm sorry if that's spelled wrong) he was fabulous and highly professional. My wife had the Salmon which she loved. I had the steak which was beautiful in every way. I had the cheeseboard to follow which, was me just being greedy as I felt and resembled a walking cannonball for the remainder of the evening. My wife told Jait after our meal it was our anniversary which shocked him...he disappeared then very kindly appeared with Champagne. We retired to the outdoor chessboard where Jait took photos for us inbetween serving the other diners. The photos revealed I didn't look like a cannon ball at all it was more like a giant beach ball. We will go back as they created a special memory from our evening.
