Travelers' Choice
A unique country house hotel in Surrey Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever. Situated near to Cobham and within easy access of London, this 57 bedroom hotel is set in landscaped grounds and gardens, making our hotel one of the most perfect wedding venues in Surrey. Offering a range of classic and executive bedrooms and suites, Woodlands Park has a choice of bedrooms to suit everyone. It has two great restaurants: the wood panelled Oak Room and the more contemporary Bensons Restaurant. The hotel also boasts excellent conference facilities as well as being the perfect training and meeting venue in Surrey. I am delighted to welcome you to Woodlands Park

We had a lovely afternoon celebrating our bride to be. The setting is gorgeous with large comfy chairs, and heaters and blankets to keep us warm as it was a chilly day. Elissa was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful, taking a real interest in our party with her warm personality. The sandwiches were tailored for us as we had 4 vegetarians. They were all tasty with different types of bread and the cakes and scones were all delicious. Thank you for a fab afternoon

We had to travel to attend a funeral and needed accommodation. Woodlands Park proved to be not only welcoming and sympathetic to our circumstances, they went the extra mile to make our stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. We were kindly upgraded to a suite and considering many areas of the hotel were closed through Covid restrictions it proved a massive bonus. The food served to the room was outstanding and John, the chef, offered his guidance as to the food available. I have to say for both dinner and breakfast it was outstanding in presentation, delivery and quality. We will look forward to enjoying the full restaurant experience when we visit in future. On the morning of our departure and the day of the funeral we were told to use the room as long as we needed and the extension to our check out time was another token of kindness that made this hotel so special. The jewel in this hotel's crown must be the staff. Goodness they were good. Thank you for shining a warm light on our dark days.

Like many couples, my now husband and I had our original April 2020 wedding cancelled due to Covid and made the decision to move it to December 2020. We'd always planned to get married in a church (which we did), however, we originally had a different venue booked for our reception. Long story short they were awful and we were left without anywhere to host our reception 3 days prior to the wedding. However, during what was an extremely stressful time we were lucky enough to speak to Emma from Woodlands Park Hotel who, with only three days notice, worked with us to create our dream wedding with 13 guests in attendance. Emma, Katie, David and the team at Woodlands Park could not have made the day more special for us, whilst complying with Covid rules. They were friendly, professional and always on hand to help (with all guests commenting on these things to us separately), but they also went over and above to ensure we had a wedding to remember. In addition to the incredible service (which we honestly couldn't praise enough), the hotel itself is stunning and provided us with ample opportunities for amazing photos, and the food was 5*. They also kindly upgraded us to a master suite which was hugely appreciated and made the whole experience even more special. In summary, we couldn't be more thankful that we had our wedding reception at Woodlands Park Hotel, and would strongly recommend them to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful venue with excellent food and service (plus a stress-free experience!) - you certainly won't regret getting married here.

We spent a pretty perfect afternoon at Woodlands Park having afternoon tea on the terrace on a sunny day. The service, food and setting were all excellent and we were well looked after. Our temperatures were taken on arrival and it was quiet so social distancing was no problem. Some hand sanitiser placed outside the washrooms would be a good addition. Would highly recommend it.
