been to the tenterden 3 years ago and it was ok. just got back after a 2 night stay and not so impressed this time, we could feel every spring in the beds, the breakfast (if thats what you can call it) was a goody type bag, couldnt even get a slice of toast. must say it was clean but... More

My friend and I stayed here for the night as from outside Bracknell, and a friend was having a 30th bday do nearby. On arrival we first needed to check in and collect keys from the main guest house admiral a five min drive away. We got to the Tenterden guest house after. We had room number 10 which was... More

Very comfortable and cosy. Only point for improvement - could do with having a blind put up in the bathroom in ground floor room. Everything else was great and would definitely stay here again. Great value for money

The Tenterden Guest House is not conducted as such... Rather more a 'dormy-hostel' with access key being transported from The Admiral Cunningham Pub, a couple of miles away - Guests are expected to travel there for breakfast ( not very convenient) ! Rooms relatively clean and tidy, poor shower facility (shower-head leaked) Outside area very unkept, in need of a... More

Stayed for one night and believe me it's a no go. Old, dirty, uncomfortable, no hot water or pressure in the shower, the bed springs were shocking, the noise of the road is bad, dirty carpets, walls etc. It had a fridge and microwave I guess for contractors who stay for longer periods but I'd prefer to sleep in my... I booked to stay at The Admiral Cunningham which is also owned by the same people. There was a double booking on the day I arrived so I was offered The Tenterden for the night along with a free meal and drink at The Cunningham. I was happy with the room (No.10) which is at the back of the house... More

Very happy to recommend this establishment. Arrival is odd in that it's unattended and you need to phone the sister hotel down the road. The young guy arrived within 5 minutes and was very polite and courteous. Room is small but well equipped. Clean albeit a little dated. Ample continental breakfast. Good price for what you get. Would recommend if... More

Although the latest check-in time is stated as 10pm we rang to say we were delayed in London and didn't think we would arrive until 1am(!) and the owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Breakfast is basic on the weekend - help yourself to cereals, toast, juice and tea/coffee. Because we hadn't officially checked in we ended... More

So, we needed somewhere for a one night stay and this looked pretty good. Wrong! No one on site when we arrived, had to call and wait 10 minutes to be let in. Person who showed up didn't seem to care about welcoming us or letting us know about breakfast, check out policy. Room was tired, double bed tiny, my... More

I booked a room (number 10) at this B&B relatively last minute as I was visiting the Vision Care Institute in Pinewood early the next morning. Overall I was quite happy with the service. On arrival I was awfully confused not to find a reception desk or staff member on site, and I was informed by a fellow guest that... More
