We are a family run resort on Lake of the Woods, in Sioux Narrows Ontario. We offer a wide variety of fishing opportunities and many hunting opportunities as well. But if you're not into fishing or hunting and you would just like to relax and enjoy the scenery and beautiful lake then we have that too. Hope to see you soon!!!!!
Hands down the best experience ever, right from our check-in to check-out. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming! Our stay in cabin 12 was like home away from home with a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor fire pit, our own deck, a dock with a swim ladder and the heart of it all a screened in porch. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer and check out everything else that is offered!!
This was our second stay at Crawford camp and it was the perfect weekend getaway from Winnipeg. Lodges have all the amenities for a family. This time around Matt took us on a guided fishing trip as well.
Karly and Matt are such welcoming owners and make the stay even better.
You can kayak, SUP, fish right off the dock, use the private beach or hit up any of the hikes in the area.
Highly recommend.
Great winter vacation spot!! Spacious cabins, cozy and warm. Great view over looking lake. Close to town for any supplies etc you might need... convenience store has everything you would ever need food, liquor, fishing gear. Owners are extremely helpful and go out of way to make sure you have everything you need. This was our second ice fishing trip at Crawford's, and will be coming again next year.

Boat was worst since I started coming to Canada in 1969. Here is a list of problems with boat: trolling motor battery would not fully charge so it worked only 3-4 hours a day fish finder sonar was not operating for first 2 1/2 days. I texted Matt but he never contacted me to fix problem. My son finally fixed the problem. live bait well not working gas gauge not working seat posts need grease. difficult to turn seats. Boat was clean and outboard ran well. YEAH!

Thank you for the review Mr. Peters, we welcome good and bad. As for the boat rental issues, this is why we no longer rent boats to customers who are not staying at the resort. If you are staying at the resort then we are able to look at issues in a timely fashion and are able to GO THROUGH the initial breakdown on the boat at time of pickup. Because you rented the boat through another resort and chose to stay there due to cheaper costs, there is no time to do that. And when texting or calling at a time that you find convenient, sundays etc, does not mean everyone is always available. As for the issues, we apologize you ran in to these while staying somewhere else, but we did also discount your invoice for multiple days to account for that. Again, Thank you for your review. Matt

5 of us made our first ever ice fishing trek into Canada from Jan 5th-8th. It was a terrific experience and an adventure we won't soon forget. Can't say enough good things about the owner (Matt) and his employees. It was VERY cold (-30F the first morning we woke up) and thus we had some mechanical challenges with our sled. Matt's team was great offering us help jumping and even offered their heated shop for working on things. They also catered to our bait, gas and even broken coffee-maker needs. Always very quick to respond and with a smile. Matt also took a lot of time to draw out focus areas to fish on a map and ID areas to avoid bad ice. He definitely cares about his customers finding fish and staying comfortable. The cabin we stayed in was a bit run down but, it was warm, everything worked and it was clean (this is most important to me!). I believe Matt mentioned it is next on the block for a remodel as well. The scenery is amazing of course and while we put on 30-50 miles a day, it wasn't uncommon for us to see no or one other fishing group (AWESOME!). If it's your first time going, bring a GPS, go with a few guys and lean on Matt's expertise. I would definitely return to Crawford's in the future.…

Crawford's Camp is by far the best resort in the area. We've tried a number of different resorts but none of them even compare to Crawford's. The owner Matt will do everything he can to ensure that you will enjoy your stay (including putting you on fish - something most other resorts can't do). They offer clean cabins that each provide an excellent view of the lake, a main dock with gas and bait, fish cleaning building with a large freezer, and excellent staff. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Crawford's Camp is simply the best experience Canada has to offer in a resort. From the clean and cozy cabins situated in perfect scenic locations along the shoreline of beautiful Lake of the Woods, where the most incredible sunsets can be seen daily, to the family style hospitality of the owners, Matt, Karly, and Millie, which is second to none, Crawford's camp is without a doubt, the "Place to Be." Whether you go for the unbelievable fishing, hunting, or just a family get away, you will no doubt enjoy your stay here. Our family goes between 2-4 times a year, and will continue to go for as long as we can!! Walk up to the main lodge in the morning, relax, and enjoy or ask Matt about where to fish, and you immediately realize his passion as he describes the best "hot spot" for the season. He is truly a professional! Dock your boat right there, as they have all of your needs covered from fuel to bait, to boat rentals. Ask any of the friendly and helpful staff for assistance, and they are spot on.…
