Decent value for money and beside a 24 hour shop. Very close to Spinola Bay and good bars. We checked into this hotel last minute as our initial one was located beside a noisy building site, only to realise this hotel is opposite a noisy building site also! The room is very small, décor dated and the bed was not comfortable unfortunately! Our toilet was broken when we arrived also - making a lot of noise constantly refilling but luckily we were able to fix it ourselves. There are no English speaking TV channels and the first floor smelled like cigarette smoke constantly for some unknown reason.

Staff were rude. Felt like we were bothering them when we were checking in and checking out! Room smelt like smoke, the bed felt like bricks and the toilet was broke! I had to fix it myself. Next door to a construction site that staff did not make us aware of! It was cheap enough and in a decent location, close to shops and bus! Would not recommend or stay again

First thing I liked about this hotel is the staff. We had an early morning flight so we arrived around 9.30 a.m. The man at the reception desk did his best to provide us the room although check-in is from 2 p.m. We got the room with a double bed just as we asked in the booking (actually, we booked a room with two single beds but asked for one double bed). Everything in the room is spotlessly clean, we got slippers, sewing kit, shoe polishing set, toothbrushes and even shaving set! The room itself is on the small size and the cieling is rather low, so it's a bit strange if you are a tall person like I am. Cleaning lady came every day. The only thing that would be good to add is one chair, as there is only one in the room. The balcony is small but big enough to sit and have a cup of coffee or smoke a cigarette. The hair dryer which was in the room had European plug in, but the man at the reception provided the adapter. Don't forget to take one if you come from "normal countries" 😀. Or you can buy one at the reception 3€ piece.... There are lots of construction work around the city, but we were lucky to get a room that didn't overlook the street so we had no problem with noise. Bus stop is 50m from the holet, so there is no need to rent a car. All in all, great value for the money. A really good 3 star hotel. Easpecially the staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room that doesn't overlook the main street.
