I had much better expectations from this hotel! The lobby is nicely decorating and welcoming but it stops there.. check-in was a slow, inefficient process despite the fact that there were some 4 receptionist at the time. The rooms are very old-fashioned and are in great need of

Dear FLoredana93, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I was glad to read your positive review of our staff and the hotel's cleanliness. However, I was sorry to read that the experience did not meet your expectations. I understand your comments about the feel of some rooms, but may I mention that we are already in the process of having rooms refurbished and hence, they will feel newer and fresher in the not too distant future. With regards to the lighting, no matter whether guests need to put in their card in a reader or not, switches would still be required to switch on or off areas within the room. It would not make sense to have everywhere lit if a guest wants to read a chapter from a book and their partner wants to sleep. We would like to apologise if our service in the restaurant did not satisfy your needs. Although the restaurant itself is Italian themed, please consider the fact that we cater for various nationals and we have to satisfy their tastes too. Please rest assured that the restaurant manager has been notified with your comments. As you might have noticed during your stay, we are located in a busy, built-up hub and parking is very limited, if not impossible at times. The hotel undertook a high investment to make parking available for its guests and hence the reasonable charge. Additionally, unlike other parking facilities our parking is secured by CCTV and manned security. Nonetheless, we do hope that you change your mind and give Golden Tulip Vivaldi and its staff another chance to make up for your recent stay. Kind regards, Mark Gatt, Duty Manager

Dear Michelle, Thank you very much for feedback concerning your stay here at Golden Tulip Vivaldi. I deduced that you enjoyed the location of our hotel. With regards to your other comments, I would like to mention that soon most of the rooms will be renovated and hence in the near future we hope that our standards will be at par with your standards. I was surprised to read your comment about our staff not speaking English because all the staff we employ need to speak English as a basic requirement. We do apologise if we did not meet your expectations. Nonetheless, we do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon within Golden Tulip Vivaldi. Until then, we wish you and your beloved all the best. Kind regards, Mark Gatt, Duty Manager

5* lobby, 4* breakfast, 3* service, 2* rooms, 1* hallway.

I’ve given it only 2 because it’s kinda just a 2* in a dress with some make up that only goes below the collar line.

I’m sure it “meets requirement due to facilities” but cleanliness is shocking. Mountains of dust built

We stayed in the hotel for five days in October. A room was nice, employees friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We communicated in English without any problem.

If you rent a car when staying in Malta, you can park a car in a hotel garage at a reasonable price.

The location was quite good close to the sea and far enough away from the night-time scene to be reasonably quiet. The outside and reception appearances created a good impression. There are two separate parts to the hotel, connected by a corridor, the carpet of which was both di

HI Is there building going on at the construction site next to the building? One review says that our land suite will face a building site is this true? We arrive in2 weeks. Thanks you Sandy
The front of the hotel is near the busy paceville area and is quite noisy at night but no building site, One side faces the sea and again no building site, The only possible building work is towards the back of the hotel but this is a well developed area so not not sure if the information is correct.
