We had not stayed at the hilton for a few years after moving to Gozo however we decided we needed a nice hotel for two nights as we had some business to do in Malta so decided on the Hilton for old times sake. We chose it because the executive lounge is open in the evening times and also the indoor pool is open as well. Our welcome was much appreciated. Berber was so friendly and explained how the vaccine passport works (you get a green sticker on your room card wallet which means you do not have to show it again).....we booked the indoor pool ahead of time and you get a one hour slot....first time on the thursday I had the whole pool to myself it was bliss.....Friday tho was busier with kids altho it was still not crowded. Our room, 903 was an executive with marina view and was lovely....we have never had a marina view before but it got the sun from lunch time onwards and it was really nice. Bathroom was lovely also with the nice towels and crabtree and evelyn shampoos etc. First evening we used the bar downstairs and it was very enjoyable, even tho we could have used the executive lounge we opted for this and the staff were great....everyone had time to chat with us. Breakfast was served in the Oceana and it is different now because of covid....you go to the station and they serve you. It was fine because it was not busy but I would hate to do it when it is busy, hopefully these rules will not last too long. You could not have your breakfast outside but some people brought their coffee out after their breakfast. The second night we used the executive lounge before going out to dinner and it was lovely to meet John again after a few years. We sat outside for old times sake and John came and topped up our drinks without us having to go and ask for more. Nice touch. We also used the quarterdeck after dinner and this was really nice...they have not changed the inside of it and its still perfect. We loved our stay and the refurb is good too...altho maybe its lost a bit of charm with all the pale colours...our headboard had a few small holes in it already so maybe they will not wear as well. Thank you to Berber, John and our maid Katia for her lovely towel arrangements on our bed...we hope to come back soon.

We stayed as a family of four from 11 July to 17 July in room 944 - which was an executive room that we’d been upgraded to on account of me being a Diamond HiltonHonors member - a great start to the holiday! The room itself was a good size, modern and a balcony overlooking the Med! In terms of the other facilities: - excellent pool facilities with about six different ones to choose from: - the Executive lounge was one of the best I have come across and they did their best to cater for our vegetarian diet both at afternoon tea and evening canapés: - we had breakfast at both the main restaurant and the lounge: great food and service. There is an indoor pool and gym on site which although I didn’t get a chance to use looked good and we’ll equipped. What makes this hotel special is the staff: from those in the Executive lounge, restaurants, reception, concierge, poolside - all do their best to assist you and always welcoming and greeting you with a smile! From a COVID perspective - there are measures in place such as mask wearing indoors in public areas (not outdoors), temperatures taken on entry, food being served to you at buffets rather than helping yourself and plenty of hand sanitiser available. The mask wearing takes a day or two to get used to - otherwise the measures are generally not intrusive given that in the heat you’d generally spend little time in indoor public places. In terms of location the hotel is just over five minutes into the main town area with lots of shops and restaurants as well as bus stops to Valletta if not using taxis. There was an initial mishap at the airport in that our booked transfer with the hotel was not there and we ended up getting our own taxi - but they gave us a return transfer free by way of “making it right” so we were happy! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and were into return to Malta would definitely book in again!

We took a bit of a chance with the weather and Covid and booked a week in Malta at the Hilton. I’m a Diamond member and have stayed in a lot of hotels in the Hilton family over 20 years and can honestly say this is among the vey best. The hotel itself offers excellent facilities and is in a good location but,as always, it’s the staff that really make the difference. From check in to check out we experienced nothing but excellent customer service. Thank you! As for Malta, yes, we got lucky with the weather but what a gem - so much to see and do, great cuisine, friendly people.

Estate have a New Year and had a wonderful time. There are amazing sporting facilities lots of choice of different places to eat in the staff were really fantastic and couldn’t do enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone to come and stay here

Second time for me, my husband has been many times. Outstanding service, warm & friendly staff. Everything is perfect. Only one really buggy thing! There is no mirror, with a socket for a hairdryer, anywhere! The is basically no dressing table! I had to move the huge round white table, to get near a dark corner with a mirror & socket! Apart from that 100%!
