The hotel is smart, clean and close to all amenities and of course, the beach! Staff are out of this world, so friendly and super accommodating, the hotel manager (we think, lady with beautiful sparkly nails) was just amazing, so kind and friendly! The other guy on reception who we think was Andrew or Davide (we may have had a few cocktails when we met him) was brilliant! Kept us entertained and was always very friendly! House keeping were a group of really nice ladies who cleaned the room to a very high standard each day, always said hello and would help you with anything. Breakfast was a mix of full English, continental and a selection of fruits, coffee machine nearly came home with me! Delicious coffees whenever you wanted. The hotel is located just far enough away from the busy clubs and bars that you aren’t kept awake at night, however be warned, wherever you stay in St Julian’s, there is a lot of construction work going on that starts early every week day morning, the district hotel, however is quite sound proofed so this shouldn’t be a problem. Only downside is that we aren’t still there!…
Good facilites and services. Spacious and clean rooms. Close to Saint Julian the main bus stop, shoping center and the beach. Good and plenty full breakfast. It's located near different restaurants, pubs and bares, but there's noisy. The staff is very pleasant
We booked for a three nights stays at the District Hotel; the price was very decent comparing to the others in the neighborhood during our stay, on an average of 50 euro for a night, we find it a pretty good price for what you can get. Also the hotel is located pretty near the center of the city, with lots of bar's, restaurants, things to do (casino's and cinemas for example) etc etc. So you can go to many different places by walking distance. As for visitors with a rental car for the parking possibility; there should be enough "white boxes" nearby the hotel, otherwise the hotel it self offer private parking, be aware to contact hotel staff in advance to arrange the availability of it. A tip is to park at the white box loading spot next to the opposite hotel which will be free for parking from 16:00 till 08:00. The hotel itself is on average in general, especially visited other three star hotels during our stay in Malta, we can say it's okay but things to improve will be some maintenance on the bathroom which we find it can be a bit cleaner. There was also a locked door inside our room which can not be open, thinking it's to connect to the other room or for cleaning purpose. But during our first night we heard lot of noises from people from the other room; therefor it's not that good, no idea if it came from the locked door or simply bad noise isolation. The balcony is small but good enough to have a sit or dry out your small laundry. Be aware there is two sides with balcony; one is facing a big private car company parking lots and the other in direct to the city center, it depends on which one you want but the one facing parking lot got more sun light. Didn't get the breakfast from the hotel itself since there are enough other places nearby with better offering. But overall we find a decent stay for the price and especially the location, therefore recommend!…
We really enjoyed our week at The District, it was very clean and tidy and the room was brilliant, very spacious and modern. We were B&B and it was good, bit strange due to Covid restrictions so no self service but all staff were great especially Melina and Estelle who were fantastic! " Full English" was really nice tho' not the hottest, and continental looked good too. The Hotel is a five minute walk from a decent beach ( not "real" sand but ok), multiple bars , restaurants, shopping Mall and everything you need for a great break. We hired a car, loads available locally, and highly recommend this as the island is so easy to get around and we found plenty of beautiful sandy beaches and spectacular scenery. Also recommend a short ferry to Comino (amazing) and a car ferry to Gozo ( beautiful). We loved our visit to Malta and The District Hotel is a great place to use as a base, go and see, you wont regret it!…
Filthy place. The women in reception don't wear masks. The room is dirty and the reception and dining area, even worst. The rooms are not like they look in the pictures and the staff is not very friendly.
The hotel is at the top of the main street for entertainment with building site at the side and a building site at the front and a car park for taxis at the back so plenty of noise. We had at comfort room with a good walk in shower and a balcony you couldn't swing a cat on at the back. Staff where nice and helpful, bar has no draft beer and limited anything else.
We stayed there for the Christmas weekend but the cost was very fair. The hotel is very close to the nightlife, which make it a little bit noisy..but it was our choice. Rooms were very clean and cozy, beds were very comfortable. The reception staff was kind and available on every request. I usually come to Malta and so I highly suggest this hotel.
Great Hotel on the best location in St.Julian...near the famous street where the nightlife is amazing. Service is supreme, prices are very acceptable. Breakfast is ok. For sure will book it for my next visit to Malta.
They serve great Cafe Latte with Hazelnut. Dan, the staff at House Brew Cafe, was a great help! He helped to turn off one of the aircon to make us comfortable as the weather was too cold due to the evening rain. Dan also helped us to make a local call even we were not their hotel guests. First class service for this seaside hotel staffs!

Not forgetting night shift staff 'Jessmond' Rooms are clean, good breakfast, fantastic location, easy to go on a tour, good wifi..never expected the hotel to be fantastic...keep up the good work.
