Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Stayed at i baloi recently, which is our go to hotel in Batam. Still very popular as like pre covid times and have to book way in advance especially for stay over the weekend. Room is well maintained despite the building looking dated from the outside.
Breakfast was decent and they asked all guests to wear gloves during the breakfast buffet when taking food, which is a good hygiene practice. Location is very good just next to a2 food court and bcc mall and morning market and grand batam mall within walking distance. lots of message places around the area also.

The location of the hotel is great, it is walking distance from Grand Batam Mall and other food centres, restaurants and convenient stores like Circle K.
It is about 15 min drive from the Batam Ferry centre.
Check in / out process was a breeze and the staff were courteous.
The hotel room is acceptable but not "wow". One major gripe I had was they positioned the power sockets so near to immovable table that made it impossible to plug in my Mac power adapter. See the pic. No face and hand towels were provided like most hotels do. On day 1, we found the 1 tube of shower gel and 1 tube of shampoo to be inadequate but we asked for more and they gladly provided.
The breakfast is good. There are varieties of local food and cakes. The towels in the room were minimal - only body towels and a floor towel.
The roof top pool was great. It was clean and long enough to do laps (I think 20m long?)
Overall, this is good hotel to stay at because of its location.

Stayed 2 nights at the one @komplek baloi. Good location, near 2 shopping mall (BCS mall and Grand Batam mall). Outside the hotel there are many eateries, some are outdoor tents and there's also outdoor food court. Massage places are many around this hotel also. Convenience store also available across the street.
The hotel is quite new, but the bedsheet a bit yellowish and saw stain at the corner. When i requested to change the bedsheet next day (by putting the card), they didn't do it because saw the same stain at the same spot. Came 2pm for check-in but the room still not ready yet, so waited at the lobby. There were no hand towel provided, called the housekeeping and they only gave face towel. Breakfast spread quite good, but taste average. They allowed for late checkout at 1pm.

Hotel is located near Grand Batam shopping mall and BCS mall. Getting good food is easy and it is just across the road. Live music for those who want to have a chilling night off with also local buskering.

Love the cleanliness, friendliness and location of this hotel. Many eateries and malls nearby. The roadside bustles at night too so you feel safe exploring around till late. Truly enjoyed our stay here with friends.

Ibaloi has been my choice and my recommended hotel to my friends. Booked 3 nights this time. At check in requested for quiet room, given a room next to lift lobby. Tried stayed for one night. Can hear people talking in the lobby whole night! Got changed to a room at a corner next day but we have to bite our tongue and has an outdated TV… all other times we stayed we got rooms with smart TV. Disappointed!!
The front desk manager on duty on Sep 16 insulted me say that I only asked for a quiet room! So have to make do with other flaws!
He tried to be nice and says u want change room tomorrow!!
Hope ibaloi can maintain their service level… their location is best for us. Even though the breakfast were cold even served on bay Mary, no face towel in the room, we can overlook all these.

The location was ideal, as it was situated between two major shopping malls. Walking distance. There are numerous excellent restaurants, massage parlors, and coffee shops in the surrounding area. The service within the hotel was excellent. The hotel room was satisfactory.

This hotel room are nice clean. The breakfast spread are good too. It’s is also near the market and shopping mall The only thing that miss the five star are the price and the far away from the ferry. It’s expensive for the hotel.

Best place to stay for a business trip to Batam. The place is very close (within walking distance) to Batam Grand Mall, Batam Central Square, and a lot of food courts nearby. The price is OK and the breakfast has a vast variety of option. You can also order a taxi service from here which is very helpful for my business trip.

The hotel is well located in the Baloi area, there are many eateries, massage places and malls around it, namely both BCC and Grand Batam.
The hotel itself is very well maintained, every corner is clean and tidy. Staff are professional, greet and smile when needed.
The breakfast is fantastic, lots of food to eat, fair choices of western and asian food.
The room is very clean and functional, just the right size but the bath room is a bit small, but it is clean and well maintained.
This is my choice of hotel to stay in Batam.

Hi.. My hubby booked a package(Hotel plus ferry tickets) so he had to give the my name too. As the ferry tickets needed both our particulars. If u are just booking the hotel I am not sure, u may want to check with the hotel
