Right on junction of main road so easy enough to find the entrance road. As well as the travelodge there is a little chef and a burger king on site. Check in was quick and easy with clear directions to room. This is an older Travelodge , still key access to room opposed to key card. Room was well presented...

We stayed overnight on our way onto Hartington. We found the accommodation comfortable and really appreciated the upgraded beds, so much better than before. The room was very clean and the shower was great. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who could not have done enough for us. All in all a very pleasant stay and would certainly...

Had to find somewhere to sat unexpectedly. Staff friendly and welcoming - went extra mile. Someone needed to get hold of me because of family illness and staff responded to situation with professionalism and sympathy. All fine except couldn't get shower to work but probably because I am technologically challenged (!). Overall left feeling refreshed - good VFM.

Pleasant stay at this Travelodge. Clean and good sized rooms. Comfy bed although ours seemed to have a dip in the middle so was very cosy. Close to main road but well insulated as could not hear any traffic. Receptionist Tony worthy of a mention very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Booked so we could attend a wedding in Alfreton and not much choice of other hotels but really glad we picked Travelodge. Maybe the hotel has had a fairly recent refurbishment? It was clean and felt fresh and the room was bigger than other's we've stayed in. Considering it was located just off a very busy duel carriageway we had...

stay was generally good but hotel needs a revamp. the pricing is excellent but this should not be averaged by the overall decor of the property. generall the building and room condition is tired. Nothing major to put it right.

Altogether a pleasant stay, the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating with any requests we had. There were only 2 minor issues; The first was that there was only 1 room key available but my wife and I were able to work around this quite comfortably. Secondly, the room could use a ceiling light in the middle of the...

Good stay for good price. The room was clean and just what you may expect from Travelodge ( and I do love their mattresses and pillows!). Great location - close to motorway yet secluded. Nice big car park. I loved check- out times: 12.00 instead of common 10.00. This hotel provides has no cooked breakfast, but there's Little Chief restaurant...

Really great place to stay. WiFi was brilliant, beds comfy and room spotless. The staff were really friendly. There is also a little chef, burger king and petrol station all onsite. Room was cleaned everyday and the shower has to be one of the best I've used.

The Travelodge Alfreton was modern, very clean and VERY quiet! Although we only stayed one night we were really pleased with all the facilities, the price and the location. We will definitely stay again when we visit family in Alfreton.
