Lovely stay nothing too much trouble for the staff . Breakfast was well cooked and served by a very pleasant young man called Bassam who went over and above for us. The hotel is very pleasant within walking distance of the Empire Theatre and the Stadium of Liight perfect for…
Was on a lads weekend and the location couldn't have been better. Loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking/staggering distance and plenty of late night tucker too. Rooms etc were all up to usual prem inn standards. Didn't eat so couldn't comment on food.
I was here over the easter weekend as my friends were staying in Newcastle for the football as we were seeing Sunderland at home on Good Friday and on Easter Saturday, we were going to see Newcastle at home. No complaints from me, but very helpful on the taxi front.
This hotel ticks all the boxes for visit to Sunderland, 3 minutes from theatre, centrally positioned good bed, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, on sight car parking. Evening meal if required, nice bar. Will be returning.
Returned to lovely Sunderland after 35years and went to where my grandad used to live and followed footsteps from years ago, going to South shields beach and the grotto restraunt... beautiful people, full of spirit and life who smile and talk to you!!!
