I agree with the previous reviews. The guesthouse is looking a bit tired but it was spotlessly clean which is more important to me. The room had tea and coffee facilities, TV and ensuite facilities. The breakfast was lovely. All in all really good value for money and highly recommended

We got a very friendly welcome from john. Great sense of humour! Our room was a bit dated and basic but we weren't expecting luxury for that price. What we got was a clean and comfortable room with everything we needed and a lovely breakfast. Fabulous location too! Will definitely return!

The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. On arrival after a very long drive John the host moved his car so that I could fit into the car park. He brought me a couple of cans of my favourite tipple as it was after 9pm. In the morning he made a hearty cooked breakfast and even though he was...

The owner, John, is such a lovely man. We have stayed at The Chaise guest house twice now, and John has never failed to welcome us. He has always been flexible with out requests, and nothing is too much effort. For example, our daughter needs a gluten free diet and he had endless amounts of gluten free options for her....

My sister and I stayed at The Chaise on 2nd and 3rd of September. We found the host, John, to be very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. We were in Room 9, which was spacious, clean and quiet with white bedlinen, white towels, a supply of toiletries with plenty of tea/coffee available. John was...

Arrived to a very warm welcome (the owner is super friendly and excellent in every way. We were due a room with a shared bathroom, but were kindly given room 6 on the first floor, with sea view and en-suite at no extra cost. The view out towards the pier and lighthouse was great!
