Very professional and serviceminded staff. Very good food, especially the dinner. Nice pools and jacuzies. Pretty premises, cozy bar. Very nice room. Will return soon I hope! Thank you for a very relaxing stay!
The spa was excellent, but the restaurant was disappointing. The food wasn’t bad, just uninteresting and not worth the price. The waitress was very sweet, but didn’t know what she was serving. We will visit again, but we will eat somewhere else.
I always come back to stay at Farris as the location suits us so well. But I think that the hotel needs some improvement through maintenance and especially cleaning the rooms. Here, I think there has generally been poor cleaning in bathrooms, which need a hard wash to remove limescale and build-up of other moisture damage such as mould. Otherwise, I think the spa times are a bit too short and I miss being able to spend longer in the spa. The dinner experience feels rushed and as if we have to get out quickly to clear the table. The food is ok, but has great potential to be better considering how much you pay for the food. But as I said, we will probably come back as it is the only offer in the area. Hope they improve.
Never before cross my mind that jump to nort sea can be plesant but after event sauna i run in and enjoyed , loads of stuf in spa , cave is brilliant, pepole working there are exelent , generally great place to recharge batteries .
A perfect place for a few days of relaxing and self-pampering. The spa area is very big and didn't feel overcrowded even on a day with full occupany (public holiday). The location by the fjord means you can go right into the sea for a cooling swim after your "sauna experience". Great staff!
Staff at the font desk roll their eyes at us for asking questions or answer in a rude maner. Check in is at 4pm and way to late. Our hotel deal had a two meal corse (but not if you want meat, than you have to pay extra). Over 50 % of it was impossible to eat and when we showed them they said: ah thats just how it is, a new one would not be better Also I wish there were swimwear in all sizes (lucky I brought my own). After staying there we were told to pay for parking to. Poor breakfast where there was no syrup for the pancakes, no sauce to go with the hot meals, and almost impossible to get hold of a cup of coffe. We will not recommend Farris to anyone.
Felt like a public swimming area. Way too overcrowded overall. Cleaners of the opposite gender in the shower whilst naked. NOT OK. Some staff looked overworked and unhappy. Not worth the money. Go spend your money elsewhere
Upon arrival we got all the information we needed, and we could choose between getting free swimsuit and swim shorts, or we could use our own. We chose to get the free ones from the hotel. We got a nice room and free robes, slippers and a little spa kit with different products. The stay was overall very good. Nice spa area and a variety of sauna rituals. Our favorite “attraction” was the amazing mineral cave. This was our first experience with sauna ritual- and we had a great time! Would absolutely do this again. The only negative thing to say about this place was the maincourse that was included in our three course meal. The main course was chicken and it wasn’t good at all, I couldn’t finish mine. But the dessert was delicious.
The staff was very service minded and friendly, both in the hotel and in the spa area. Wonderful food, lovely rooms. Perfect for a get away. Our room was very nice, and we had a wonderful view from our terrace.
It is not often you are a "tourist" in your own city, but after visiting Farris Bad it will definitely not be the last time! The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, fantastic food in the restaurant and wonderful spa and sauna experiences. The perfect break in everyday life :-)
