The Radisson Blu Airport Hotel in Oslo Gardermoen garners frequent praise for its exceptional service, with many guests commending the staff's friendliness and efficiency, though the bustling periods can see a dip in service speed. While the atmosphere may lack the warmth some travelers seek, the hotel's prime location near the airport is widely celebrated for its transit convenience.
Cleanliness stands out, with rooms often described as spotless, though some guests suggest updates are needed, particularly in the bathrooms. The hotel's value proposition is a point of contention, as some guests find the pricing steep relative to the amenities and services offered.

Detailed Reviews
My second visit to the Radisson Blu Oslo Airport and another one-night stay in a Standard room on the fourth floor. I had arrived quite early at around 12:00 and was pleased that the reception team were able to check me in a full three hours before the official time.
At 22m2, Standard rooms are more than spacious enough to meet the needs of most guests – mine came with a king-size bed, an armless relaxation chair and coffee table, a desk and a handy ottoman below the wall-mounted TV for suitcase storage with thoughtfully designed wall protection above. Power and USB-A sockets were within easy reach of both sides of the bed, with additional power sockets above the desk.
The minibar was stocked, and although there was complimentary tea, instant coffee and hot chocolate, there was no complimentary water. You’ll need to book a Superior room or higher if you want a coffee machine and a Junior Suite or higher if you want robes and slippers.
The bathroom was a little clinical with its small white tiles and came with a shower over the bath and Radisson Blu own brand amenities in individual bottles. Some of the sealant and grouting within the bathroom looked a little tired.
My view was largely of another wing of the hotel, although the airport’s control tower and part of the front of the terminal building could be seen to the right.
26 North Bar and Restaurant are the hotel’s dining venues; I didn’t require breakfast, but did sample dinner during my stay which was very strong for an airport hotel, even if the atmosphere was somewhat lacking due to the absence of background music and tables that were positioned closely together. There’s an overflow section to the restaurant beyond a curtain which is typically only used during breakfast; avoid sitting here for dinner, as the lighting is very dim. I asked to be moved to sit closer to the bar.
The hotel has a 24-hour fitness centre, but there is no pool or other fitness facilities.
In summary, a thoroughly decent airport hotel, well located just a few minutes’ walk from the arrivals level of the terminal building – although remember that there is a short uncovered section which is rather unpleasant in inclement weather.

The location is ideal in that it is only a few steps from the airport and the Flytoget train service. The rooms are passable, but in need of a refresh -- carpet is new-ish but the paint and other surfaces need to be redone. But the worst thing about our stay was the dangerously slippery bathtub surface. All modern hotels have dispensed entirely with bathtubs and replaced them with showers, and that's what needs to happen here.

Great location friendly and attentive staff clean room. We upgraded to breakfast and found the hot selection disappointing quality and poor value for money paid. We had a family room and my 17 year old daughter had an uncomfortable sleep as the sofa bed was very hard and the room had a very strange use of the large floor space. It would be difficult to beat location but otherwise I'm sure there are better hotels to stay near by, which we may explore these options next time we stay over.

I was in route from Tromso Norway vis Oslo and Copenhagen to Atlanta and desperately needed a convenient location for a great night sleep, and Radisson Blu delivered! The hotel was right across from the airport,
the room was spacious and spotless, the bathtub was most welcomed and they delivered a soft luscious bathrobe to boot. I was desperately in need of food and the restaurant was convenient and food delicious. My only less than effusive comment is that there was only powder coffee in the room. A minor detail compared to the rest of my stay. It ticked all the boxes for a comfy overnight for anyone transferring flights.

The positive first, nice service in the reception and in the restaurant that served top fish&chips, some of the best I have tasted. My husband ate hamburgers, it was also very good. The room was outdated and cold! We got to borrow the heater at the reception. They saved power. The extinguishment was tight in the sink in the bathroom, the water flowed slightly down. Awful. Most of us stay here for a night in connection with travel, so you don’t want to complain about “everything”. The linen was frozen, despite loans from the heater. In the bathroom there was no heating, no heating cables. Unfortunately it was the one time we stayed here

You stay at this hotel for the location. It is perfect for an early morning flight or a late arrival into Norway. It’s nice enough but showing its age.
My room was spacious and well lit. But the mattress was very saggy and had seen better days. It was not the most comfortable sleep. Water pressure in the shower is extremely low.
The room has a fridge but it is mostly a minibar. There is very little space for anything you might want to keep cold.
Oslo airport is in a remote location so services are limited other than what you find at the hotel. Keep this in mind that you are mostly a captive audience. The staff I found very friendly and kind.
Their restaurant is insanely overpriced for what you get. My cod was undercooked though the Cesar salad was very good. Adding 25% VAT on top of the already high prices will give you sticker shock when the bill comes.

We had a room with beautiful beds, but with a miserable shower. Weak water pressure, and the water temperature in the shower lived its own life. Shower in the bathtub is probably generally off today. No heat in the bath floor! Otherwise spacious and nice room with good temperature control. Breakfast on the regular. Expensive hotel, but the location triumphs.

I stayed in Radisson Blu in 2023 and had stayed in Radisson Red the previous year. Radisson Red has the more stylish hotel room, and Radisson Blu’s hotel room conveys the message of comfort. I prefer Radisson Blu. There was no noisy ventilation system where you can hear air passing through all night.
Also, due to my early checkout, Radisson Blu had prepared a breakfast package for me. (I had paid for a room with breakfast, but Lufthansa had moved my flight from 9:30am to 6:30am.)

We stayed at this hotel both on arrival in Oslo and again on departure. It is extremely well located and one can take ones trolley with luggage direct from the airport via a covered alkway (except for one road crossing direct to teh hotel and, with the trolley, up to your room. You can then do the same in reverse via the Airport to the train station (one can go direct to the train station, but there is not a lift to Platform 1). We had breakfast on our inward bound journey and dinner on our return. On our return we also had an upgrade which gave us a slightly larger room with an airside view and a 'proper' coffee machine. though not convinced the upgrade was value for money. Both times reception was fast and efficient, breakfast on the first moring was continental and adequate and our dinner on our return journey was excellent, both in terms of quality (though a limited menu) and service.

Hotel is very big and made for people (like me) who night to spend a night at the airport for a next morning flight.
Rooms are functional, good amenities are provided and the breakfast starts at 5am which is extremely usefuel when you have a flight before 7am (they also provide some breakfast boxes in case your flight is very early).
Also had dinner on the restaurant that has very good choices, very good food quality and provides a 10% discount (alcohol excluded) for the RadissonRewards Members.

They do have air conditioning. But doesn’t get too cold to say, American or SEAsian preferred temps.
Hello! Usually, the deposit is for the rate of the full stay. This is done by credit card for your convenience, as the card will not actually be charged. However, most hotels also offer the opportunity to prepay by cash or debit card instead (I have just done this the other day at a hotel in Frankfurt, Germany, when there was an issue with my credit card). I am obviously not in the position to guarantee that for this hotel in Oslo, too, but I’d be pretty confident.
It's 150 NOK per person but it is very good value. They put on a huge buffet with very extensive options. There's definitely something for every taste and it also starts at 5.00am which is great if you have an early flight out.
I think you can, provided you select the right travel agency for that purpose. You may also try a direct reservation with the hotel, they might accept it depending on the occupancy rate of the day.
Yo have nothing to worry about. You will walk no more than 1 minute across the street. The hotel has luggage carts (trolleys), if necessary, 24/7.
