we were six ladies having a fabulous weekend at Geilo. The apartment had all we required, and was very well equipped. But since the area still is a building site, the environment was a bit slippery and dirty.

A nice week in May in the mountains, partly work-office. Perfect way to combine work and leisure. Wifi is optimal, and the aera is quiet despite its closeness to Geilo Center. We spent a week here in a nice cabin, and made daily hiking tours in the aera. Right outside the door you can walk in lovely trails around the Ustedalsfjorden. We will certainly be back

The cabin was great. Fully stocked. Really nice and helpful staff. Ski-in ski-out with the slopes just outside the door! Everything was in walking distance. We booked a week in February before we left so that we can have something to look forward to. If possible I would move there! Pet friendly as well! The sauna worked nicely and the cabin was so cozy with the fireplace and the traditional Norwegian cabin interior. Just a wonderful place to go for some peace of mind.

Excellent resort for families and first timers! No ques! And space on the slopes to feel confident when learning. Cabins amazing, comfortable, cozy and warm, a delight to come back to after a day skiing. Local hotel has amazing pool and area for kids to splash around. The best part is how quiet 🤫 it all is!

Friendly, helpful hosts. Loved the cabin, the style was beautiful, simple, cosy, wooden interior. The sauna in the bathroom was amazing, we loved using it after a long day hike or run. Hiked up to the top of the hill overlooking Geilo, went for a run around the lake. Unfortunately the bike park was closed during the week in Sept. Short walk to town. Great value stop off on the way to Flåm and the Fjords.

We stayed in cabin #35, only 5 minutes from the ski school and cafe. Cabin was great but it could be better. After the luxury of a drying cupboard in Ruka, Finland, we were disappointed to find only boot driers. Also, the lack of a microwave in 2017 is an oversight, in my opinion. However, everything else was great, we had plenty of room (#35 can sleep up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms) and it was a pleasant place to stay. We walked to town twice to do shopping the supermarket, allow 20 mins each way and remember to take rucksacks or bags as carrier bags will be uncomfortable if heavy. We ate twice in the Vestlia hotel and can thoroughly recommend, great atmosphere and food albeit expensive, but this is Norway.

These forest cabins are fantastic. We stayed in a four bedroom cabin and it was lovely. Easy walk to the ski centre (where ski school and a cafe were). These were ideal ski in ski out. The cabin has a lobby with two boot warmers and plenty of space to hang everything. Into the cabin and we had a showerroom with sauna on the left; ideal for drying clothes for our baby! Downstairs was an Austrian twin style bedroom with a heater. Then lounge with sofa, and flat screen to- note, no DVD player. Great wifi. Upstairs were three bedrooms and a massive shower room and separate toilet (we were able to put our baby in the showerroom in a cot). Each bedroom had various beds in. There were no heaters upstairs, so when we got in from skiing, we lit the fire. There were three heaters in total, so it as just about warm enough.. Our baby was in childcare, which was wonderful- so chilled and lovely (trollklubben was a 3 minute walk- amazing.) The supermarket was a way away and impossible to get to without a taxi for at least £15. No shop nearby major negative; no way of buying milk/bread for basics. No washing machine or microwave. Coffee machine provided, with lots of filters. Logs provided to start you off, then you could buy more from reception. It was quite complex getting the key on the first evening, as we were confused as to where to get the key. We arrived at the train station and waited 1.5 hours for a taxi with 11 of us and kids and an infant. We called Geilo taxi and they wouldn't send a taxi as they said lots would be along within minutes! NB! Call geilo taxi beforehand and book a taxi. If we did this again, we'd hire a car, as taxis were expensive.

From arriving at Fagernes airport we were so well looked after. Arywyn the local rep was helpful from the moment we were sent his contact details and our chalet host Kim was just the best. We were welcomed with hot soup and a smile and NOTHING was too much trouble all week. It was hard not to feel smug about being so well catered for. I have coeliac disease and Kim was so careful to make sure all my meals were gluten free. She made our holiday fantastic. Thank you Kim. You're welcome in Hull whenever you'd like to visit ❤️

Arrived late at night to a warm welcome by our Crystal host Kim. Comfortable chalet and good homely meals. Chalet very close to slopes and free ski bus to get you round to other parts of resort. This was important to us as we were cross country skiing. Crystal weren't able to offer much advise for cross country tracks. Fortunately we were helped by the Tourist office and owner of ski hire shop at Dr Holmes hotel. Plenty of well groomed tracks to keep us occupied all week.
