A fairly large hotel close to the Geilo center, 10-15 years old I guess. Modern interior in as 5 years ago. Nondescript possibly suitable. Large terrace facing westward that is wonderful on a sunny day. Many of the rooms have spacious balconies. The room I staid in had a wonderful bed (slept like a log). No coffee machine. Fair en-suite. The traffic on the main road can be intense so ask for a room with valley view. Also, the rooms facing the centra are closer to the municipal (ambulance) helipad thus occasional noise to be expected.

We booked two appartments. One appartment (room 400) is very old, dirty and most lights are not functioning. The children have to sleep in some kind of cleaning room without any windows(room 200) is beautifull, with good lights, nice shower, good beds, nice living room larger kitchen etc. And the most ironic part is that you have to pay 20euros more per night for room 400!

Lovely hotel in a great location. We stayed in a spacious and beautifully decorated 2 bedroom apartment with a cute mezzanine for the kids. The pool and sauna were amazing with a view of the mountains. The food in the restaurant was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Lets be realistic, we are always looking for best value for money. Do not look at this hotel if thats what you are looking for. We paid almost 300€ for 2 pax to nights. We got a bed, a TV, towels and soap. Nothing more. Breakfast was miserable - one type of cereal and no personell available at all? Only youngsters in the reception and cafe, they don't care to clean the tables. So if the price would be love, i would accept hotel management cutting cost on every corner. But not when the price is that high. Thus the score of 1 out of 5, but I really want it to be zero.

We were four adults and 2 young children, we had a double room and a family room, each room was clean and had a nice shower, we had comfortable beds and both rooms had a balcony, breakfast was ok but there was not a great choice, we had dinner one night and the food was good and was served quickly, the swimming pool was good and had a sauna and there was a soft play room for the kids which they really enjoyed, staff were very friendly and helpful, after reading other reviews I guess they probably struggle when it gets busy
