We stayed for a night in this very nice chateau, we had a very large 3 room suite, the owners were not present, but we got plenty of information on the property and renovations by the caretakers. The suite had all modern comfort, lot of windows, but in the same time great charm. Good tips for restaurants (as in the...

This was a beautiful and tranquil find during our recent trip to the Alsace region of France. Bernard is a knowledgable and friendly host. Breakfast was in a lovely room with a wonderful assortment of local products to fill up on before setting of for the day. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The outdoor space has comfortable furniture to...

We stayed here for 5 nights during August 2016, a family with 3 kids. The good reviews give an excellent description of the property. This is a WONDERFUL B&B hotel. An old castle that was turned around, but the owner made it a point to keep its "castle-ish" atmosphere. The castle is located in a sleepy village with no points...

Stayed fit two nights, on way to Italy. Perfect retreat from the hussle of daily life. Quiet. Beautiful quiet location. Lovely room. B&B. Home made and locally produced food. Excellent for a relaxing stopover. Not much to do in this area but that suited us fine.

This was a wonderful place to stay. An old castle that has been rehabbed into a B&B. There were 7 of us and we easily fit into two huge rooms. The building and grounds are fantastic. Bernard will happily show you a photo book of the rehab process and tell you about it--really interesting. Breakfast was wonderful. Bernard gets up...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights while visiting Strasbourg and Colmar. Situated about 45 minute drive right between the two city centers, so location wise it is perfect. After driving through a string of quaint villages, we were welcomed by a large tree-lined driveway leading to an impressive building and a large grave-paved front yard. The host...

It was with some trepidation that we approached Chateau de Grunstein. It is in the small village of Stotzheim. A densely tree lined driveway led us over the moat into the grounds of the slightly decrepit looking genuine 15 th century chateau. There was nobody around so we let ourselves in and found Bernard the owner in his office ....

Great place from which to visit Strasbourg and surrounding area - we chose this based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. We stayed in the Berthe suite and it's pretty big! You have a reception room with a sofa, a large double bedroom and a large bathroom with jacuzzi and shower - everything was in good working order. Bernard &...

Exceptional hosts who take a pride in providing local produce for breakfast although being a vegetarian my choice was limited. Great coffee machine and descent sized cups too! The suites are furnished with antiques, plus a large flat screen TV. The window drapes do not meet when pulled together so dont forget an eye mask if you need complete darkness...

This was a truly fantastic place to stay. The host and hostess are simply delightful people and have clearly been working for years on every last detail of your visit. Our stay was geuninely perfect. We stayed as a family of 4 in the 2-bedroomed Charles Suite (teenage children). Terrific bathroom, wonderful breakfast of local produce and strong wifi. Should...
