We stayed here upon recommendation from Australian friends who love good food, good wine and good company. We were not disappointed. The "home", now beautifully restored as a Relais, is charming and elegant. We were in the "suite", a lovely room with a large elevated bathroom opening onto a beautiful, totally private balcony. Then the restaurant - deserves at least... More

My husband and I spent a night here after a recommendation from a Sicilian friend of a friend. It is about a 1/2 hour drive from the Valley of the temples and a great alternative to staying in Agrigento. You feel a bit like you are in the middle of nowhere as you arrive in Montallegro town, but the charm... More

This was a last minute booking and so we did have to wait 30 mins for our room to be prepared, but we sat in the downstairs reception room stroking the owner's family dog and marvelling at the underground wine cellar through the glass floor. The place is an absolutely gem. All the rooms are wonderfully decorated. We were on... More

We visited here towards the end of the season with my elderly mother-in law, for two nights. The building has been beautifully refurbished and the rooms are unusual but very comfortable. The two aspects that really stood out were the quality of the food and the friendliness and kindness of Damiano and Adriana. Maybe we were fortunate as we were... More

We stayed at this hotel for two days on our roadtrip through Sicily. Our room was on the top floor after some sweatig on the stairs we arrived at our hotel room. The room was spacious and had a nice bathroom to it, it had a kind of English old style. The owners were very helpfull and made us feel... More

Our own experience started on the telephone when my wife made our reservation, talking to Damiano, the owner of the Relais. She immediately said to me how "simpatico" he was. Naturally we were very curious to see the hotel, meet Damiano & sample the food, which we expected to be excellent. We were delighted by our welcome, our lovely room... More

We found Relais Briuccia and its restaurant Capitolo Primo through a hint in a travel guide and were by no means disappointed. We spent a perfect evening there with wonderful food, which was served by the perfectly German speaking wife of the Chef. She and her husband did everything to make us feel very welcome. Equally perfect was the atmosphere... More

Wonderful and romantic place owned and managed by two great, friendly and fluent English speaking!people who welcomed us as old friends. Rooms are in a chateau style, clean and luxury. Dinner and breakfast were gorgeous. The best meals we had during our 2 weeks holiday in Italy. Nice beaches visited by only few people and sights were few kilometers from... More

Fantastic accomodation, very warm welcome from the owners and excellent food. Each course of the dinner was a real surprise. Quality as well as Service are comparible with Michelin star restaurants. Highly recommended during your trip through Sicily.

This accommodation is very curious. It is located in the village of Monteallegro, which is a pretty ugly village with no interest. The accommodation, however, is a little jewel in a town so decadent. For my taste in decor is classic too, with lots of antiques and curiosities, but the rooms are fine and are quite original (the only flaw... More
