We stayed two midsummer nights at this downtown hotel. The receptionists were very nice and accommodating. The hotel rooms are somewhat outdated and bear some wear and tear. + Central location one block from the pedestrian street in Haugesund city center + Breakfast buffet with

Me and my better half decided to try out this Hotels Thuesday buffet. It contains a somewhat local dish best described as potato dumplings. A favourite of many people here at the westcoast of Norway, and traditionally served at Thuesdays. It was a pleasant surprise! The

It’s been a few days since I stayed here and I can barely remember what the room looked like - it was that average. The ironing room being in the handicap toilet by the reception has lodged in my memory though. The breakfast was okay, the Thursday dinner buffet very traditional

Hello, and thank you for your feedback! Due to the sensitiveness of our firealarm, we have put our ironing room at the handicap toilet. This is only temporary, when we in the meanwhile is working to find a more designated area for our ironing room. In Haugesund there is a lot of restaurants, and it is strange to hear that you couldn't find any restaurants open. Next time in Haugesund, I really hope you to ask our reception for suggestions. There is several restaurants that are open whole week, and where the food is excellent. Hope to see you back at Thon Hotel Saga in the future! :)
