And I don't mean in bad way. Place was really nice and beautiful. We travelled with dogs and they were welcomed, we even got the last room from the building so it was private and easy to let the dogs out. Road to this place was really small (last 4 km), for us that was a bit surprice, but you... More

Magical decoration, but overpriced and reception person who I'm guessing was also an owner was a too hmm .. snoopy, should give someone else reception job to charge guests for service as I felt like I was a cashpoint... Apart from that helpful and polite, because business requires that. Also I felt unwelcome that I choose service of dog sliding... More

Loved the setting and the accommodation. An afternoon highlight was Melissa's incredible cakes and biscuits that she whipped up for everyone. Talented girl who seemed to be always working. If you are visiting in Winter pay the extra and get a shower. Also ask that your room doesn't have a pit toilet as some of them do. The honeymoon suite... More

This is such a quaint, pretty place, it really does look like the pictures. This is in the middle of nowhere which we loved, but don't think you are going to nip to the shop etc. Michael is an excellent manager it is clear that he is turning this place into something special, I just hope he can get a... The remoteness of the lodge definitely adds to the charm, although a few less bumps in the road would have been appreciated. Cozy accommodation with helpful personnel. Northern lights from the platform is great. Food is very much in style of the rest of the lodge. Worth a stay if you are in the area.

We arrived at 11pm and were collected by Ongajok and transferred in their mini bus to the lodges. It takes about 30 mins - yes there is a bit of bumps up the 3.7km driveway but honestly I don't know how anyone is focused on that and not on the amazing surroundings! And their driveway signs {there are 4 or... More

My husband and I took the 4 night Northern Lights package. I chose it because it promised snow, Huskies, snowmobiling, and maybe even spotting the Northern Lights. We got all of that, and some lovely food to boot. It was a very laid back experience which suited us just fine, and the cakes were amazing. We had a comfortable warm... More

A magical place. A winter wonderland at the end of a road to nowhere. The staff cannot do enough for you, and the food was hearty, tasty and plentiful. Cakes and fresh biscuits at 4.00 pm (baked daily) were a real highlight. We ate communally, and enjoyed the united nations family style meals a great deal. As it’s both high... More

We visited here between christmas and new years, the most amazing stay we could imagine. We booked with Northern Lights in mind but went with no expectations, could not believe the show we saw on the 2nd night! Incredible to have caught it, there were lights every night of varying amplitude but the 2nd night we were really treated to... More

I cannot fault a single thing about ongajok mountain lodge, it is perfect in my eyes. The last few km was a bit bumpy but it wasn't in anyway a problem for us. It's only a short distance and has stunning views on the way. We stayed on our honeymoon and done a package. Unfortunately for us there wasn't quite... More
