A real experience, when you loved the seventies !! The hotel seems standing still somehow, but still offering things that have long gone in other hotels. The general layout & rooms are based on a seventies design decor & probably have an authentic age as well!!!!! Bathrooms are from back then, with the advantage of having a good size thought!... Stayed here whilst visiting friends in Herning. The only positive thing I can mention is that the room was clean. Service was almost non-existent. No staff at reception on check-in. There was a number we could ring, but nobody answered so we had to go and hunt down a receptionist! We had a non-smoking room, but the hall way smelled... More

One of the worst hotels i have ever stayed for business. Location of the hotel is a bit far from the centre, about 15 minutes walk. Also the hotel closes at late hours, hence arrange your check in if you arrive late. Sometimes you couldn't find any staff in the reception, had to go into the restaurant and call for... More

In Herning on business my colleague booked this hotel, which was disappointing, particularly for the price. It is old, and not nice at all but clean and wifi works well. Have not had breakfast as I left too early. Lady at reception very kind and helpful. Very expensive, but in Denmark everything is expensive.

My recent stay at OsterGaards was ideal for my business trip in the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and offered all necessary amenities. Also, the location and the price makes the hotel a great value. Note: the hotel restaurant closes at 21:00 so checkin early if you intend to dine. There's a shopping center with several restaurants across the... More

Stayed one night after a business meeting. Price is reasonable but hotel is old and has only the basics in place. Rooms are clean and the beds are of good quality. The rest I for sure not worth mentioning. I.e. I had to wash my hands in shampoo as no soap was in the rooms. Breakfast was a DK standard... More

Very old hotel and carpet is from the '70's - at least. Room was ok and bathroom was nice. Very quiet, only older people. But next to highway. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. Service is ok and friendly. WiFi is pretty poor. If you're scared of small elevators, DO NOT TAKE IT!

Was unfortunate spend a night in the Ostergaards, the outside is extremely dated, as with the inside, seemed as though we were transported back to the late sixties early seventies. The rooms was extremely basic, no kettle etc, tv channels limited to five, the shower was not cleaned properly, hairs on the floor and the mirror, the internet was practically... More
