The Sheraton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel draws praise for its clean rooms and strategic location near the airport, a highlight for guests prioritizing convenience. However, the room decor has been described as dated by some, and a few guests have encountered issues with room upkeep. While the club lounge and other amenities are appreciated, opinions vary, with underwhelming experiences noted by certain travelers.
Service quality at the hotel is inconsistent, receiving both commendation and criticism. Additionally, concerns regarding value are common, as some guests feel the cost is not reflective of the dated facilities and services provided.

Detailed Reviews
Check in staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable and clean, typical corporate type of room. Had no USB charging ports, the location of the power outlets made it impossible for me to plug in my charging adapters.
The one site bistro was a major disappointment. The French onion soup was mediocre, being in France I expected something better. I ordered fish and chips, the fish was acceptable however the chips were cold, the waiter promptly took them away for replacement but they weren’t replaced until I had eaten the fish, on reflection I should have asked for the whole dish to be replaced at the same time.
For dessert I ordered crème brûlée, which was a sad attempt, cold as if take straight out of the fridge, topped w a soggy dusting of sugar, no crunch, very disappointing.
To finish off my meal I ordered an americano, the waiter came back to the table to confirm that it was an americano coffee that I was waiting.
I paid my bill, and on closer inspection I noticed that I had been charged €20 for the americano coffee, I bought it to the waiters attention, he was very apologetic and told me that I would receive a refund on my credit card in c couple of days, apparently I had been charged for an americano cocktail.
I found the concierge to be very helpful as he arranged transportation to my check in desk at the airport with a disabled person who I was travelling with.

It is a well-known airport directly connected to Roissy Airport.
I was expecting a direct Rosy Air France bus from Orly, but none. Helped by kind guidance, I had no choice but to take the subway, RER line B, but this airport is quite far.
This time, even before I checked in, I had the pleasure of checking in my luggage.
Without direct flights from Japan, liquids and other goods from third countries other than Europe would be
You have to go through a baggage check and it becomes checked luggage.
What's more, the liquid is heavy and transportation is physically exhausting, so it's quite a good place to start, depending on how you use it.
Check-in went relatively smoothly, and I picked up my luggage and headed to my room. There are also Lay's on the first and second floors for food so you can shop without getting wet. Breakfast is expensive, so we procured it for dinner and breakfast here.
There are separate bathtubs, toilets and shower booths, so it takes time to get the hot water out, but even so, the bath towel hangs near the bathtub, Reception has free water, iPhone USB-C outlet, toothbrush and slippers. TV can be watched if it is NHK World. Reception also has an information board for airport boarding times.
When you get here, you don't have to worry about striking public transport in Paris, you don't have to worry about missing a connection or getting restless because of a flight delay, and you don't have to have cash to move on. If you spend all your cash and you have a card, all you have left is Nantka.
All I had to do was wait for my flight home, so I felt like I was halfway home.
You may want to pack your last belongings before returning to Japan. It's also good to have a desk facing the tarmac, where you can work while watching planes take off and arrive. Facilities may be slightly older in terms of facilities, but there is no better option if convenience is to be considered as a merit.

One of the strangest shaped hotels I have stayed in. When they advertise being in the airport they are not kidding. The terminal is on both sides of the hotel with several levels of streets. The hotel is squeezed between and shaped like a wedge. Here is the problem: if you are driving a car, while the hotel is quite easy to identify, finding a way to get to the hotel with the car is a big problem. After circling for a long time, we turned off the GPS and started driving by observation. It turns out that there is a small side branch to one of the levels of streets that is unlabeled. That gets you next to the hotel, but this is NOT parking; only unloading passengers and luggage. Be aware you will need a validation from the hotel to leave this drop off or there will be a 10 Euro charge at the exit. The good news for us was that the rental car return was a couple of hundred meters away and well-marked. After dropping the car at the rental, we had a short walk in the terminal to the hotel. The hotel is an oasis from the airport hussel. Very modern, clean, spacious enough. Terminal 2 is immediately accessible right outside their front door. Hotel check in was excruciatingly slow but friendly. Concierge was extremely helpful. The hotel restaurant had a good menu. It was expensive, service was so bad - the servers were untrained and very clumsy, spending a lot of time speaking out loud to each other, serving wrong meals and dropping plates and utensils over and over again - it seemed to make the guests laugh. With the air traffic and car traffic right next to the hotel we were expecting a lot of noise, but it was quiet in the room. This hotel is conveniently located to a very busy airport and would be a good stopover flying from/to the airport.

Response from Joey Postel, Service clients/Réception at Sheraton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel
Responded Jul 21, 2023
Dear DrMitch, Thank you very much for sharing your review on Tripadvisor about your recent stay at the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel. I am happy to read that the location and the quietness of our property, which is located inside the Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport, met your expectations and that you had a good rest. Though we take your remarks in regards to the signage very serious and we will share them with the ADP Airport authorities. However, I also have shared your comments with our Restaurant team who would like to join me in presenting our apologies for the inconvenience you experienced during your dinner. I am looking forward to welcoming you back to the Sheraton Paris Airport to have the opportunity to show we have learnt from your comments. Please do not hesitate to contact me at the following e-mail address: joey.postel@sheraton.com on your next visit, and I will personally ensure you have a memorable stay with us the next time your travel plans bring you to Charles de Gaulle Airport. With Kind Regards, Joey Postel Director of Food & Beverage

I have stayed at the Sheraton inside CDG several times over the years.
You stay here because of the location. It's perfect for early morning flights or anyone arriving late.
Rooms are tired and do show significant wear-and-tear. Scratched, scuffed, and damaged furniture. Worn and stained carpets. Walls that need fresh paint or new wallpaper. The rooms are very clean. Housekeeping does a better than average job. Still, the guest rooms are at least 5 or 6 years overdue for an extensive, floor-to-ceiling renovations.
The management is very attentive and everything is executed to a very high standard. Staff were polite, professional and very eager to serve. No complaints at all.
Daily housekeeping, room service, and a club lounge are available. There's a laundry service too. Of course, I suppose many guests only stay one night so daily housekeeping or a laundry service may be of little value. Still, it's offered if you need it. The concierge desk staff also can arrnage transportation or tours for a day trip into Paris.
Bonvoy elite status recognition is good.
All things considered, the Sheraton despite having extremely tired and worn rooms is clean, offers a range of amenities and services, and has an unbeatable location. Hopefully, the long-promised renovation will be carried out.

I always stay at the Sheraton CDG the night before I return from Paris to the US. I get a room with executive club access because I travel solo and I love that the executive lounge has a wide variety of appetizers, dessert and wine, Perfect light dinner without having to go to the restaurant.
This last visit, Sasha was managing the lounge. He did an excellent job. Tables were cleaned immediately when someone left and the food was constantly being replenished. He had the patience of a saint as the club was very busy. He was very professional, friendly and efficient.
The folks at reception are also excellent. I’ve never had a bad experience. .

The Sheraton in Terminal 2 is my favorite airport hotel. Everything about it has been thoughtfully designed so that it feels like a safe haven in an incredibly busy airport. From the minute you enter the lobby, it's tranquil. The hotel rooms are utterly quiet (I have stayed many times and always noted the peacefulness of each room). The room designs are super-smart with all sorts of thoughtful details, beautiful wood, comfy bed, and good bathroom. The restaurant serves really good food for all meals. There is also a peaceful lobby bar with a small menu, and it;s set apart from the actual lobby area so it is not transitted by arriving and departing guests.
The hotel is located just steps from the CDGVal shuttle train that connects all the airport terminals, and just steps from the escalator down to the SNCF train station. It is a five minute walk to Terminal 2E, where flights depart to the US (and other destinations).

We traveled from Strasbourg to CDG by rail and had an overnight CDG layover. We used Marriott points for our stay and, thus, can’t comment on actual costs. The room included Club Lounge access and breakfast. Our only hotel expense was room tax. Our king-bed room was large, comfortable, well-maintained and clean. The room had plenty of storage, WIFI complementary and upholstered furniture (and bed) were comfortable. We went to the Lounge after 5:30pm for delicious appetizers and drinks. Breakfast offered typical buffet items. Hotel staff we interacted with were all helpful and friendly. Overall, we found this Sheraton to be a great location for an overnight layover at CDG.

First the hotel seems to be rebranded as Marriott Bonvoy. Whatever that it is.
We chose to stay at a well known brand the night before an early flight to Australia but it was a very disappointing and expensive experience.
Reception staff were snooty and unhelpful, not indicating the lift location and literally watching us wheel our bags in the wrong direction.
Bistro service was also poor (the food was ok). We had to ask for bread (in France!), the plate was chipped, and the wait staff were unfriendly - till we asked for the bill. When we didn’t leave a tip, the guy stopped being friendly and didn’t even return my ‘Bonsoir’ as we left.
The room - THERE IS NO USB OUTLET!!!!!
Not one!!!!
In a 4 star hotel.
And the other plugs were awkwardly located and one didn’t work.
No drinking water in the room!
Towels were threadbare and shower drain backed up
In short, a rip off

Unlike some of the bad reviews, my room was spotless, quiet and comfy. The fitness center was clean, uncrowned at 6:40am on a Wednesday, and even had free weights, yoga mats and foam rollers in addition to the cardio equipment. I didn’t try the restaurants.
Baffling: the lack of charging ports in a hotel this expensive in this location. I thought it was me until I read other reviews. I finally found an outlet on the wall close to the floor that was still live when I turned out the lights.
It looks like someone at the hotel is reading and responding to all the reviews but the charging situation at least hasn’t been fixed.

We have stayed several times at this hotel and after a 11 hour flight from California, being able to literally walk right into lobby is wonderful. Most hotels at CDG require waiting for a bus that drops you. The rooms a sufficient and being a loyalty member, I sometimes get lounge access. The breakfast is fantastic and a great way to start the day. So If you don't want hassles after a long flight or the day before your flight, I highly recommend it. I am arriving in Paris next month at 10 pm and walking right into lobby. I take a lot of anxiety from arrival. Bon voyage.

Maybe 10 minutes at a normal pace to the JetBlue check-in counters. Then depending the gate, it could be considerable walking after checking in, through security and to your gate. CDG is a huge airport with multiple terminals and concourses.
Did not use a cot.
Sorry to learn that the hotel never reopened the sauna after the covid flu
I am not aware of the existence of terminal 5 at CDG.
Look up CDGVal at CDG on Google and you will find the map of the routes as well as time between locations.
Hope it helps!
