I dined at Crocodylus at the suggestion of Matt (Epiphyte B&B). It was a short jaunt across the way with plenty of seats available. The menu is creative and a nice change of pace from the snacks I'd packed. Bugs are out in force in July, so dress accordingly. My only complaint is the parking lot was pitch black -... More

Stayed here for a few nights and had my own hut in the middle of the rainforrest. The accommodation was great although there were a lot of mosquitos. Bathroom facilities were good too and there was a laundry room where they also kept bug spray which everyone was welcome to use. The owners were super friendly and fed us mangoes... More

We booked 3 nights at Crocodylus and when we arrived, we were gladly surprised by the comfortability of the accomodation (it's not a 5 star hotel but the cabin was quite spacious, clean, relatively new bathroom...) One of the nights we stayed for dinner in the resort and the food was homemade and really tasty and not expensive (all mains were... More

We stayed at crocodylus as a family while visiting the region. Great place in the middle of the forest. Friendly, happy staff. Don't miss the night walk! Accommodation basic but clean A real jungle experience that we or the kids wont forget.

My partner and I stayed at Crocodylus Village on 22-24th December 2015. Upon arriving, the reception was closed however the owners had left a welcome package advising us of our room and things to do in the area. Our room was all we were after, large with a double bed equipped with a mosquito net. Perfect to keep the abundance... More

About as authentic a rainforest stay as you'll find. You're under canopy. It's basic. No locks. The canvas lets in the bugs. The nights are so dark like you've never experienced before. The forest is alive and noisy all around you. You'll love it. Enjoy. (P.s they have mosquito nets around the beds to keep the bugs out!)

We stayed for two nights in one of the huts, we loved the fact it was in the middle of the rainforest . There was an amazing fig tree in the middle of the grounds and we were surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. This also meant we were surrounded by creepie crawlies and were greeted by... More

We liked Crocodylus Village. We discovered what the 'rain' in rain forest is! We were there for one night and it poured! Darlene was very helpful, we were well looked after, the cabins were great and the kitchen facilities were not too bad. The eating area and shared areas are lovely. A great place to explore the area from.

My husband and I went here for dinner one night a few weeks ago (we were actually staying at the Daintree Rainforest Retreat Motel down the road and the owner there recommended we eat dinner at Crocodylus). The food was quite good - it was pizza night, which suited us. The place had a friendly atmosphere even though it was... More

We were very excited to sleep in the open lodges. And we were not disappointed at all. We got upgraded for free to a bigger one. Staff was very friendly and their breakfast very delicious! It was great waking up in the middle of the jungle. We can only recommend the happy hour as some locals will be all the... More
