Beautifully located! Stayed in theJungle Double cabins. Steve was an awesome host. Always time for a good chat and advice on things to do. Located close to the beach at Cow Bay and a croc-safe swimming hole! BBQ dinner on Sunday is a big draw. Stayed here for 4 days - not enough.

A great place to stay hidden amongst the trees in a permanent tent. Short drive to quiet Cow Bay at the end of the road. Watch out for falling trees in the wet/rainy times. Great BBQ dinner with plenty of variety to go back for seconds. Make sure you try the icecream place on the corner. Best choice is Rainforest... More

Loved every minute we stayed here - accommodation is basic but beds are very clean and comfy. Steve, the Manager, was so welcoming and helpful and is a first class host and he also makes great coffee in the mornings.. You are in the middle of a rain forest and so are surrounded by the most amazing plant and wildlife.... More

Stayed here by default, turned out to be a great place. Right with nature, beach 3km down road. It has a 2km walk as well I couldn't do due to broken leg. Beds were comfy and clean. Stayed in a bungalow. Definitely come back

An excellent hostel to let it all go, get in touch with the rawest nature can really offer and relax. Clean room, comfortable bed, hearty meals, friendly staff, family-friendly atmosphere - you can easily really feel at home here. The friendly host Steve will definitely pamper you and keep you in good company. I had such a blast here, I'd... More

I visited Crocodiles in 1992 and remembered the feeling of sleeping in the middle of the rainforrest with just a mosquito net to keep the "jungle" outside. Our family came back in July 2016 and we all had exactly the same unique experience. In the beginning we all felt the high adrenaline level caused by the dense rain forrest and... More

WOW- If you are looking at literally staying right in the middle of a rainforest then this is the place to go. The rooms are very basic with a bed, light and ceiling fan. The Windows are basically mozzie nets so when sleeping at night you really feel like you are exactly where you are, the middle of a magnificent... More

We did not know what we were heading to when we arrived at Daintree Crocodylus as another member of our party had book this part of our trip. So at first glance we were surprised at our basic but roomy tent with floors and walls. Once we got over our shock at communal showers etc we settled in. I had... More

The accommodation is basic, as you'd expect, but a lot better than a tent! The room we stayed in (milk wood 2), had a double bed and 2 bunk beds (so, could have had 6 people in the room). All the beds had mosquito netting. The showers (separate, in a block) are fine- as long as you use during the... More

We stayed two nights in a comfortable bed, fresh towels daily, a great shower and everything that the website described. To sleep within the rainforest was an experience not to be missed and one that we will always remember - the freshness of the air, the stillness of the night and the sounds of the birds. The staff were friendly,... More
