We were looking for a place to have a short break and at the same time play same golf and found this little gem. The hotel is located high up near Strigno and from it you can have a stunning 180° view of the Valsugana. The service is impeccable and the H/B food very good, so is the breakfast. The staffs are very helpful at suggesting where to go and what to do around the area. There is also a big parking area. The young lady in the restaurant even went the extra length by translating the day menu in English for my wife. There are a couple of things that are not up to scratch: rooms are in needs of updating, the bar area and main restaurant lack in atmosphere and should be modernised a bit. On the other hand the small restaurant is charming and if you have the opportunity and weather permitting, have dinner on the terrace. Trust me, that wouldn’t be a “room with a view”, but a dinner with an unforgettable view!!

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Rooms are very clean and spacious and have a newly decorated feel to them. We arrived late and the owner welcomed us with some of his own Grappe which was excellent. This is one of the quietest places I have stayed and had an excellent nights sleep. The view over the valley in the morning was breath taking. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Lake Garda, the hotel is beautiful and the views over the valley are stunning. We had an all inclusive Dinner Bed and Breakfast which we thought was great value for money. The rooms feel new, have character and are very clean. At the end of the evening the owner brought out flaming shots for us to try. Every aspect of our stay here was great.

We were just thinking about Spera, Italy today! We were there 1 year ago and stayed a week at this HOTEL. PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL. We have family in Spera and it was just great. It truly is a GEM of a Hotel, and the surrounding area is gorgeous. Recommend it 100%.

We arrived in Spera after a long but spectacular drive from Ferrara and we were so happy to be checking into this hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms very comfortable with immaculate facilities and spacious shower rooms. This is a really well run and well maintained hotel with some nice features, not least of which is the view from the front bar and indeed from the rooms. Spera is a small, picturesque village in the north-east of Italy. The villagers are very friendly and helpful and to be honest we could have stayed a week there. Shame it was only one night. Our tour had business in nearby Borgo and its a lovely town too. My one disappointment was breakfast. Complimentary but a little sparse and lacking variety. (mainly pastries, cheese and cured meats). The espresso however, was excellent and as usual in Italy, they were quick to offer and serve great coffee (and they virtually give it away). I would make the effort to come back here and stay longer - recommended!
