We stayed at Hotel Maya for 5 days and it was by the far the most incredible trips I've ever taken. You land at Busuanga Airport on Coron Island, then take a beautiful 1-1/2 hour boat ride to Hotel Maya. (The boat ride itself will blow you away. The sights are gorgeous!) Hotel Maya is small hotel (I think there...

A quiet and restful hotel that made one-night of a week-long Coron trip for our 1st Wedding Anniversary a memorable one. Overlooking the peaceful bay, the fan was enough to lull us softly to sleep. It was also in close proximity to major tourist spots. However, dining options could be improved, our menu was limited and took a long time...

Nice and beautiful hotel with a lovely view over Culion bay. At little bit more expensive compared to the other 2 lodges but worth it. Excellent service und clean rooms. And you are doing sth good as the hotel is run by the school and a part of the money goes into the support of education. Have been here 3...

Location of the hotel: you can have the sunrise view if you are getting a room fronting the sea Service: superb, very friendly and accommodating staff, they can help you contact boatman if you prefer chartered boat to Malcapuya Island Food: readily available are food similar to what can you have in Manila, local food should be pre-ordered (eg, lato...

The hotel used to be a dormitory when Culion served as a leper colony. It is located beside the church/culion fort and has a nice view of Coron Bay. Airconditioned rooms are limited. Food is OK. Staff are helpful.

Relaxing place, great view, very nice hosts. We stayed one night, but this is probably a very nice base for trips to the surrounding islands. We travelled with Kawil Tours, which is based in Culion and highly recommendable. Perfect boat trip and great people! The perfect way to discover the best of the Philippines.

When you visit culion you must check-in to hotel maya it has a wonderful view from above and below... besides considering that historically speaking it plays an inportant role in the history of culion. Another thing is that their staff are very accomidating and friendly. Plus they are working out for a new menu. At present you must try the...

I've been to Culion before but wasn't able to stay at Hotel Maya and I'm happy that I was able to experience the place. The hotel used to be a girls' dormitory run by the Sisters of St. Paul then was renovated and is now managed by the Loyola School of Culion. The hotel has amazing views and it was...

This is a hotel run by religious, so the staff people behavior is kind, soft, reserved. They are also friendly, helpful and lovely. The hotel is located on a high rock, a marvelous location. Rooms are simply, but very clean, comfortable, so cozy. Windows view is superlative. Restaurant is good and tasty. Absolutely recommendable. To me is perfect.

After just a few days in Culion, I was truly sad to leave-- the staff of Hotel Maya already felt like friends. The island is one of the most fascinating and beautiful places I've ever been, and our activities with Kawil Tours helped us go "behind the scenes." We learned about the history, challenges, and opportunities facing Palawan-- but those...
