Only stopped in for a tea or snack on a few occasions. The service is always friendly and warm with great food and beverages. I was invited to look at the recently renovated rooms.. Looking forward to staying one time!
Hosts Nina and her son Thomas are fantastic. They waited patiently for a tired and hungry cyclist (me) to arrive then served a lovely Danish inspired dinner. It strikes me that Nina is a very good cook. Cafe opening hrs not sure but there’s plenty of seating (outside and in).…
A birding friend and I had a mid week stay here and it was just delightful. We were lucky to be the only guests so had the guesthouse to ourselves. It is located a couple of hundred meters only from the visitors centre and the start of most of the wonderful walks through Tara…
Lovely stay on a damp long weekend. We’re so glad a room came up so we didn’t have to camp. The camping facilities (inside bathrooms, kitchenette and lounge) were superb. Nina and Torben were generous and considerate hosts. Nina your dinner was tasty and huge after a long hike.…
Beautiful spot. Situated close to the visitor information centre & local walks. Friendly & hospitable owners. Relaxed venue to watch the rosellas, get warm & have a meal/ snack. Don’t miss the odd snow showers in winter.
"Do go for the home cooked breakfast as a add on item. Well worth it!"
"All rooms are quiet and well appointed."
"probably better at the front if you want a view that isn't the back yard !"
"It's a Guest House not a hotel. We stayed in the double room with ensuite and it was very comfortable."
"all rooms are quiet ,rooms are basic, just for sleeping, the facilities are in the lounge and games room and offer shared experiences"
