As a person, coming to Patmos for 22 years, I did not get a room where Im used to stay. So, when this hotel came up by "stayforlong" I booked it. The people on the hotel have been very helpful, and when internet didnt work too well, the manager got me an spesiell antenna, and now my net was working well. I can, by best means recommand other people to stay on this hote..

The room was very clean and the location is exactly 800 meters from the port of Skala. It is a peaceful hotel with a beautiful sea view from the balconies. The owners are considerate and eager to inform you about the island's beauties. The only thing that needs updating - upgrading is breakfast. It's a pity a hotel like this to serve an average breakfast. Νevertheless Asteri hotel is a "value for money" choice and I hope the owners to continue in this way.

First impression is disappointing. To find out this hotel gives a false, central Skala location with the mapping function was very disappointing. It's actually about a mile north from the ferry terminal rather than 100 metres as per mapping function.

Our hotel is correct on the map. The hotel is 800 meters from the place that the ships stops and 200 meters from the nearest point of the port. Maybe was looking in a different hotel on the map Sometimes when we know the arrival time we go to the port with a car and we take the people for free. In this case we didn`t have any information

Asteri is located about 1.5km from the main part of Skala and about 5km from some beautiful beaches. There is a small beach directly behind the hotel, but it is full of rocks and seaweed. The rooms are spotless and have balconies. Some have two balconies! Air Cond is included for those warm nights! The bathroom is small and the shower is tiny, which was a drawback. They provide soap and shower gel. The hotel is situated in lovely gardens and there are several terraces (front and back). The front terrace is a lovely place to have breakfast or an evening drink. Breakfast was basic but there was plenty of it. Try to ignore the watchful manager- I believe he is there to make sure there is enough of everything. We were picked up at the ferry when we arrived, which was very practical. We will be back.

Great location with a small beach directly behind the Hotel and only a few minutes walk to town. All rooms overlook the beach to the rear or over to main bay to the front The rooms are modern and clean with small balconys, you can upgrade to larger more modern rooms.Breakfast is taken on the beautiful front terrace overlooking the garden and the bay beyond.However--the breakfast is of minimal choice and seems to be rationed by the watching manager. The atmosphere generally felt a little spooky as the two brothers that run it did'nt appear to communicate with each other.Other than that this is a nice little hotel.

this is a gem on Patmos, you can see the bay from both sides of the island from this hotel since it's located up a hill at the narrow part of the island shape. there's a secluded pebble beach you can walk to. it is close enough to the main port so you can walk in town, but they also offer pickups and rides to the port since it is more cumbersome with luggage. the hotel offers excellent continental breakfast and a wonderful lounge for you to chill and relax. great place, next time I come to Patmos, I will be returning here.

We got in late with the ferry and one of the owner brothers, Yannis, was there to pick us up in an SUV...all four of us and our luggage...very convenient! The brothers, Yannis and Stefanos could not have been more cordial or accommodating. Our room had a great view of the sea...a constant breeze kept us cool at night (no need for the AC). Breakfast is included and is of the European Continental type (but expanded to include meats and cheese). The home-baked cookies and cake was a treat! The setting and the views are outstanding...could not ask for more. Since it is not in downtown Skala or at the waterfront, it is nice and quiet at night (hence being able to keep the balcony doors open for the nightly breeze. A plus in my opinion...and its less than a ten minute walk. The rooms are very nice and clean...crisp clean linens...and when I asked for an extra pillow, no problem. I will be back...this will be my Patmos home-base!

I stayed at this resort for 2 nights, I found the room to be very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful in assisting quiries as to were the main sights to see and were to eat. The staff very friendly & polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice relaxing stay and would definitely stay here again when I come to Patmos again.
