We have visited this restaurant for lunch regularly on our trips to France and they really deserve to have more customers. The chef is very talented and produces some excellent food which is always very professionally presented. The 14 euro "menu du jour" at lunchtime is of a superior standard and is extremely good value for three courses. Give them...

A basic but very comfortable little hotel in the heart of this small town. The owner was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The food in the lovely little restaurant was excellent and great value. The simple but ample continental breakfast was also good value. We ate heartily and slept very well,...

Lovely small hotel just 10 minutes from the highway. Rooms are good: clean and good beds. Not very luxurous, but mor tan ok for an one-night stay. Restaurant is excellent. Traditional French kitchen for dinner and a perfect French breakfast. Good value for money.

The rooms are accessed by a very tight staircase which lead to a typical rural French bedroom, but very comfortable. The staff are family and the well travelled chef spoke excellent English and produced very good food from a good menu. Also a good carafe of local wine went down well. Nothing was too much trouble. The check in time...

We stayed here en route south after getting off the ferry in Cherbourg. I wanted to avoid the clinical motorway hotels and stay somewhere with some character, this was a great choice. We arrived late, tired and hungry, with two very small kids in tow. We had booked 2 rooms and had the hotel to ourselves. We received a warm...

We stayed here for four nights including breakfast. The breakfast is how a French breakfast should be (i.e. orange juice, a few pieces of baguette, a croissant, butter and jam) and tasted delicious. We opted for a basic room (number 36) which was clean and looked nice. The bed was sturdy and felt a little on the short side though...

All staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. Excellent food and hospitality in a really nice location. Safe parking available. Totally worth to go a couple of extra miles. We arrived late but staff was reachable late to arrange reception and accommodated us. The room was normal with all facilities but the service made the difference. Recommend totry the cuisine
