Just returned from a week's holiday touring and stayed here just for one night, it was a lovely room, we shared a bathroom which I found a bit daunting but I needn't have worried as it was fine. We had breakfast in the morning, which was lovely, could not fault a thing.

My husband and I stayed for four nights . . A beautiful quirky converted railway house . Central for trains in both directions . . The room was quite small and so was the ensuite but adequate for our time there . . Breakfast was ok but I don't like smoked bacon and there wasn't an option of non smoked... More

I recently stayed at The Station House with my brother whilst on a couple of days touring Norfolk, having been a sufferer of awful seaside hotels previously I decided against booking somewhere in Great Yarmouth. As we were traveling solely by train The Station House was perfect as it lies on The Wherry Line from Norwich-Great Yarmouth, so it was... More

Pulled up from a long days riding and being able to lock our motorcycles safely under cover was a great relief. A few of us stayed for the one night and all found the rooms comfortable, clean and pleasant. We were not only recommended to a good local pub for food and drinks but when we asked for a cab... You don’t have to be a train spotter to enjoy a night or two in this charming little B&B/ working station. But if you are look out for the class 37 diesels operated by Anglia along this link between Great Yarmouth and Norwich just 15 minutes away. Mein hosts, Ros and Patrick, will ensure that whatever your pleasure, boats, birding... More

Amazing B&B one of the few, as most have turned boutique and hotel like. The Station house is our second home and is just that very homely relaxing and ideal place to come and chill. Breakfasts are delicious and hearty and Roz caters for most dietry needs and nothing is too much trouble. All in all Roz and Patrick are... More

Loved staying here with my partner. Our hosts were accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The running trains didn't impact at all on the stay, in fact will be handy when we return in the summer and use it to get to the beach. Breakfast was lovely and very tasty. Only downside were the slightly noisy entrance of the... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend as a bit of a getaway. Creating a B&B out of a train station is such a lovely idea. The inside is well decorated and spotless. The owner obviously takes great pride in making sure everything is to standard. The room was comfortable and spacious. We stayed for two nights and the rooms tea, coffee... More

An excellent place to stay and certainly very handy if you need to catch a train! Be aware Lingwood has no street lighting and can be a little difficult at night to find right turning. Bring a torch if going out walking after dark!
