This hotel is near the amazing Latrabjarg bird cliffs and the ocean in this scenic, rural area of west Iceland. The owner is friendly and helpful, and also provides a nice dinner for an extra charge in the evening. We were delighted with the large room and appreciated the comfortable bed, the best on our 14 nights in Iceland. We... More

The rooms in Hotel Latrabjarg are very clean and roomy. Since we traveled with two young kids and there are no connecting rooms we booked two rooms. We were very happy to receive two rooms one next to each other. The staff was very nice and children friendly. The view was breathtaking!!!

A beautiful place to visit, charming host with a sense of humour. Lovely spacious rooms and shower, comfortable bed, vintage decor, very clean. Beautiful home cooked meal fresh fish for dinner, and plentiful breakfast. The best fresh baked home made bread I tasted in Iceland. The rooms are in an former hostel, and the dining room is a former community... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay here; the hotel is in a wonderful location with great views - better in some rooms than others. Our room was excellent with plenty of space and very clean and comfortable. I think the rooms do vary but the owner talked about how he is gradually upgrading going for quality rather than quantity so whilst... More

Just stayed one night. In a beautiful location, easy drive to the cliffs. The owner is a very friendly man, very welcoming. Rooms are huge, we are travelling as a 3 but rattled around this room!! Decor is older but it seems that changes are being made. We opened the door to the bathroom expecting a similar style but found... More

To celebrate my 60th birthday two friends agreed to accompany me just about anywhere I wanted to go....Iceland's Latrabjarg bird cliffs of course!! We planned our trip three months in advance and Karl the innkeeper could not have been more helpful answering many questions through email. It is a good thing we didn't read the guidebooks too carefully as the... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Our large room with constantly changing views of clouds and mist across the fjord, was pleasing. We are not fussy eaters and will eat most things, so the set meal didn't cause a problem to us, though I thought Skyr on the menu both nights was a cop out. It isn't a cheap place by... More

Karl had been really helpful last year when I had an accident & we had to cancel our trip - after the Booking.com cancellation date. He agreed to a full refund. So we were happy to be able to go this year. Our hotel room was a good size (dble with mountain view) with a modern renovated bathroom. We had... More

We had a couple of nights here and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the location. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great shower room. The hotel is 25km from the Latrabjarg cliffs which is one of the main attractions hereabout. That's 25km on roads that are pretty rough in some parts. There is no way that anyone can drive... More
