Nice rooms, a little few guests (middle of January so not really that strange) Great dinner, ok breakfast In general the location is perfect to take a hike, either in the winter or summer, the bath/spa was great and completly worth it, amazing view in the night from the jaccuzi
We had a great gathering at Panorama Hotel with our company. Fantastic food, very good service and great surroundings. Recommend the activity Rib tour in surrounding fjords. The evening ended down in the cozy brew cellar where they sell locally brewed beer.
We had a kick off at Panorama Hotel & Resort with our team and it was such a perfect experience. We had a live broadcast from the main hall to all our departsments around the country. The technical team on Panorama was so professional and service minded! The food and environment made the whole event magical!
I booked and paid upfront for 2 rooms before arrival. Once at the hotel they said the hotel was full, that i must go elsewhere and that they would refund my money. They never refunded me and refuse to even reply to my emails. This hotel is a strange scam?
It's extremely remote with a creepy atmosphere. Got charged for the stay twice, even though I had reserved weeks ahead. The spa department was just two hot tubs which were occupied by a big group the whole night. There were no refrigerators in the room or any roomservice. The restaurant is in the lobby of the hotell. Staff had no clue about the menu.
To call this a spa is a total scam. There were 2 hot tubs that was occupied by a group. The rooms were bare bones with no fridge, wine glasses etc. I have been to regular hotels that are more spa than this. And also it was very expensive. The dinner was bland, the waiter didn't even know what was on the menu. There was only one 3 course meal, nothing else. Do not book this hotell
Very nice place! quiet, the rooms very clean, beds are comfortable, big window with nice view! the people working there very polite....food was good, had a nice and relax time there, even if i was a little ill it helped me become better!
Food was just ok. We was waiting for coffee for 20 minutes after dining. Waiters didn't know how to take the dishes of the table. I am wondering if anyone off them had learned that. Beer tasting was included in price, after 3 hours of waiting I gave up. The room was 2 stars. The bed and showers was ok. Nothing else, even the TV didn't work. Total waist of money to go there.
Expenisv , and this is reviewed based on that. No wine glasses in room. No refridgerator in room. Small room. The room was cold. The "spa" had two hot tubs, forcing you to leave it every 15 minutes. Asked for rare stake, after 50 minutes i got it well done. Only body soap, no hand soap, no shampoo. No robes for the spa, you pay extra. Overall a pricy hotel, and i would reconnend a visit to Solstrand hotel instead of this. The staff spoke poorly norwegian (even worse english) seemed bored and unmotivated. The room was clean, and that is the only postive I got from this overpriced, over-promising hotel. The hotel is very far from the city, and they take advantage of this.
The first thing to know is this place is REMOTE. There are no shops or restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Also there is no refrigerators the room. Which means, you only option for food is the hotel restaurant. Which only has THREE menu options, all of which are exorbitantly expensive. The included breakfast is lame, cold eggs, burnt bacon, etc. I stayed in a “superior” room, which i guess just meant we had a kettle and ironing board in the room. There was no bath products, just a wall mounted thing of low quality soap. The towels were small and rough. Don’t get me wrong, the location is beautiful and staff were fine but this place is really lacking to call itself a 4 star hotel, much less a “resort”.
