Sripakpra Resort is an eco-friendly resort surrounded by the natural ecosystem of the area. We promote the protection of the ecosystem by protecting the existing trees, some of which are now hard to find. The front of the Resort oversees the estuary linking Thalenoi a fresh water lake, to the Andaman sea. This estuary is flourishing with giant prawns, fish and shrimp. The majority of the seafood sold at the Resorts restaurant View Yor, is purchased daily from the local fishermen and women who fish from this estuary. These fishermen still use traditional methods of fishing, thus minimum damage to the ecosystem is caused. Guests at the Resort can relax, being surrounded by nature and enjoying the delicious local cuisine served by our View Yor restaurant. Take trips to Thalenoi by boat to view Thailand's largest lotus field and home to hundreds of species of water fowl, or go fishing with the locals or learn their unique rice growing methods.

Just over the weekend, my friends and I made a trip to Phatthalung as a couple of them have not been to this place. We took the flight from Bangkok to Trang, rented a SUV and drove to Phatthalung. I chose to return to Sri Pakpra Boutique Resort due to the location. The resort is located at Thale Noi itself where it has direct access to the lake. I made my reservation though the AirAsia app as the price was slightly cheaper than the resort's website. I booked 3 units of Superior Lagoon Villa at Zone 1 as there were 6 of us. I made the right choice in choosing the room type as our rooms are facing the lagoon and were connected from the balcony. Also, there is swimming pool in this zone. Other facilities include kayak, cycling and board games. This time, the service rendered by the staff are a lot better than the last time I stayed in May 2019. Basically the service has improved. I do recommend to stay at this resort if you would like to do the sunrise or sunset cruise, which is one of the highlights of Phatthalung.

As members of the 20-strong Anglo-Thai Society Regional Tour Group, my wife and myself are nearing the end of a most enjoyable 2 night stay at the Sri Pakpra Boutique Resort located amongst the Mangroves in Lumpoo.

There is also property is some 7/8 years old and has been sympathetically constructed to blend in with the environment. The rooms are spacious (overlooking the Mangroves) and have all the necessary amenities - certainly no shortage of hot water and a most comfortable bed.

Breakfast is served buffet-style near the swimming pool and there is a good range of food offer - I particularly found the egg station to my liking!!

All in all - with the exception of the weather (it unseasonably poured down all day today!) - a very good stay, certainly one I should be happy to repeat.

The entry into the hotel can be confusing as it is divided into 2 zones each having its own parking area and reception, so if you are driving watch carefully for the signs. The hotel is constructed above a lagoon so it is quite different. It's location is isolated but the hotel has a good restaurant and prices there were reasonable. Note if you use the restaurant I suggest paying directly because if you charge to your room a 17% service fee is added.
Our room was attractively decorated and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the location is very quiet.
The bathroom is a good size and the shower was good. There was a nice balcony overlooking the lagoon.
Breakfast was simple but adequate.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful but many of them had limited English which can lead to some confusion. One morning my wife ordered one fried egg and got an omelet while I ordered 2 fried eggs with ham and sausage but only got the eggs. The other mornings there was someone cooking the eggs outside so we just went there and ordered our eggs.

We paid THB2,500 per night here.
Was expecting a wow factor. Location is WOW WOW WOW!
Rooms, we were put into the older wing and the walkways wooden and the rooms wood in style but in need of TLC.. Sofa bed had broken main wood frame, had to run a power cable across the room to get power for mobile phone etc. TV was not working well.
Views were stunning though! Very dark at night and a bit worried when walking on old wood walkways and little light;
Restaurant could be far better in presentation as very old and poorly maintained. Food was excellent.

Had to walk to another building in the morning for breakfast : funny - had to tell them the time you want to eat and the menu you wanted BUT i stayed alone so they served DOUBLE as was told i had paid for 2 breakfasts !! Breakfast was poor for the price paid!

They said there was a car to take us but most of the time it wasnt there so walked. The newer building looked much better in maintance but the entrance was very bad with construction and big signs. needs a big clean up.

This hotel has two sides so better you stay in the new side with the swimming pool but the management need to pay more attention to presentation and maintenance as no where near a 5* which they advertise on the webiste. Max 3 star !!

These are incredibly tough times for everyone in the tourist business in Thailand, due to the pandemic. Both international and domestic tourist arrivals have been decimated right now. Sripakpra are struggling through, but have kept much of the resort open to help the staff and try to get what little business is available. We were the only guests the first couple of nights, although some walk-ins arrived later, and we really appreciate that effort by the owners and management.

The resort is magically located on the estuary of the Pak Pra river where it enters the huge lake system of Phatthalung and Songkhla. You can take longtail boat trips right from the resort itself, whether for general sightseeing or birdwatching, and the staff can organise for you at reasonable rates.

The understandably limited staff on duty were perfectly lovely and very helpful. Although the resort restaurant was closed for obvious reasons, we had beautiful breakfasts delivered to the room each morning, exactly at the time requested. And they could organise dinners to be delivered from a nearby restaurant.

The room we had, a Sri Villa Seaview, was nicely located with a bird's eye view of the fishing activities and out into the lake. Some things in the room / bathroom could do with a bit of maintenance, but it was comfortable and sleep-friendly.

I want to return to Phatthalung province to explore more of the lakes and do some serious birdwatching. I will for sure stay at Sripakpra again.

Was treated to a stay at this establishment. It is a lovely place to enjoy what the area offers. The room was very comfortable, big with a swing on the veranda to match. The best thing was the sunrise view which was short of amazing. Obviously it is better when you get out there however for those unable it offered a good substitute.
Breakfast was part of the deal and whilst not outstanding in it's variance it was satisfactory.
I believe it has all the amenities necessary for a resort of this standard. I only used the pool which was a little small but was clean and had a great vantage of the surrounding shores and horizon. My friends took advantage of the spa on site .They both came back with a glowing report of the treatment experienced.
The greatest asset to comment aside from the location was the staff. They were all earnest, warm and friendly. Despite their short coming on their command in the English Language they were quick to identify and meet needs.
The only critical comments to make is that for those in need of variance to lifestyle(shopping) and eating options it would be advantageous if you had your own transportation. There is a restaurant affiliated with the hotel (View Yor) which served (very quickly) good food, live music with a fantastic view to offer (mind the insects at night, bites are "zingy") . Again the staff here were super friendly and attentive.
The other note to comment on was that there were small details that indicated some need for repairs to be done e.g. the palm roof of the stalls and the restaurant itself at the breakfast venue itself. Admittedly I am being picky however it just adds to the polished splendour to the place.
All in all a great place for an R & R treat. I would have loved to have had another night instead of 2 just so that I could luxuriate the splendour of the surrounding natural beauty but as mentioned it was a treat which I was most grateful for.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, as a couple, as a family.
Today we booked 2 nights,
2 bungalows facing the lake on 5, and 6 the most beautiful old part for us.

the place is changing, getting old, maintenance is lacking.....
coffee not given the 2nd night.....
neither do paper tissues.....
the bed nets are unusable because they are full of dust....
a good-sized rat crossed the room several times on number 6, this made the reception laugh, but not me, the night is not a gift!!!
the restaurant a good memory...
lousy this time, the staff avoided us...
the order was taken incorrectly, some dishes were missing....
the non-spicy one arrives... inedible!!!!
zero, zero!!!
the positive:
breakfast, boat trip 1200 B.

Our experience was pretty good. The view in the morning was impressive but the noise from the local boat woke me up. Breakfast was good, they offered local foods as well. The location is quite far from town so if you want to stay close to town this is not the option because there is nothing around at night. But if you are looking for nature, i would suggest this hotel

What an awesome surprise to discover this nature resort! Nestled on a relatively vast area of eco-wetlands, our villa sat on stilts with a private terrace from which we could enjoy the myriad of birds and wildlife. The room itself was impeccibly clean, bath provided piping-hot water and shower massive by local standards. Service was excellent and staff seemed delighted to have us there. Local sunrise boat trip highly recommended. Restaurant food so-so but buffet breakfast was excellent.

We booked 2 villas to stay here, first we tried to make a reservation by phone, but nobody answer us so many times, however we booked via Line chat with delay response and confused informations. In this part quit make us disappointed, need to improve.

Overall of this hotel; a location is very beautiful and suitable for relaxing, we can see Talay noi with a great view.

Only 1 night we stayed, we got a good experience, there are kayaking in swamp and swimming in a nice pool with infinity view.

Lovely Dinner at View Yor Restaurant, event there was heavy rain on that day, make us annoyed as we lose a good view, but all of plates are delicious we are so happy.

Delighted breakfast; we visited breakfast restaurant since early morning, all F&B staffs very helpful they was greeting then escort us to to restaurant and always asked us about foods and drinks especially one guy with white shirt (maybe trainee).

One more thing we would like to suggest you, some staffs should be do a service mind and show your attention with guest, cause sometime we found some staffs ignored when they pass by guests without greeting included us as well.

However if we have chance to travel in Phatthalung we will visit here again.

Thank you for lovely stay !!!
