Yes the accommodation is very basic but the location is stunning and so relaxing. Ignore the faults and just embrace it. We had a great stay. The trip up the river on the raft was great fun and jumping in and floating down the river was an experience to remember. Use a mosquito coil in your room and the smoke will keep them at bay. Buy food to feed the fish and sit back and watch the world go by..
I stayed there 1 night with my soulmate, it’s suitable for the guests who need a peaceful place and real relax due to it has no connection networking for cell phone but provide WIFI in the restaurant area only. In addition, the soundproof wall cannot keep sound due to the wall made from wood which quite thin we able to hear everything when next door talking but view was very stunning especially in the morning.
There is no hot water no electricity, lighting is by hurricane lamps or a small child’s battery powered lamp. Toilet is curtained off in the ‘wet room’ if you fancy a cold shower in river water. Toilet not bolted to floor and fell over when the river level dropped and raft grounded. Beds are comfortable and clean, but you can here everything that is happening on either side of your ‘shed’. As long as you are aware of the basic nature of the accommodation and want a unique experience this is for you.
I styed 2 nights in this place. Small wooden raft houses on the river. Location is very quiet and nice and peaceful. Resort is "so so". Do not expect much ufrom accommodation and in my own view it is suitable for short stay. Do not be surprised if you see bugs or lizards . Interesting part was trip with raft up the river , and once reached certain point you can jump and strong flow will bring you back to rafts. There is restaurant and small shop with basic things within resort. Parking area is just near by. If you are not picky this can be good spot ( when looking for peace and nice nature surrounding).
It's a quiet place surrounded by nature. Really peaceful. Allthough most of the staff don't understand english they were friendly and polite. The boss brought us to the national parks and at the end back to the town with his pick up truck for good money.
