Honestly, our experience at Nan Seasons was more than five star. We stay at five star hotels frequently, but this is not that, because the experience was way beyond exceptional. From the staff who are genuinely gracious and giving, to the environment which is gorgeous, to the simple elegance of the villas, makes the overall experience in a class by itself. Our experience began the moment Roger picked us up at the airport, which continued when we met Mandy, at that point we knew we had come to a very special place. But we still did not know just how special it really is. Then at dinner the first night, my husband had his dream fulfilled with a Southern Thai Fish Curry that he loved. The food was always over the top—-GREAT! But for me on that first night it was the honor of meeting Kas, who is the gifted chef and dream creator of this resort. It was his soft spoken, calm nature that set the stage for our amazing visit, which made me aware of a lasting heart connection. The whole experience cannot be conveyed in words, you really have to go there and experience this for yourself. And if you arrive with a open heart and no expectations, then something magical will happen and you will know what I can’t tell you. As you too will have directly experienced and then can also understand what Kas, Roger, Mandy and the entire staff do to create such a special experience for their guests.

Beautiful nature and a short drive to town for all the sites. Staff are incredibly friendly and professional. You can get everything in English. Food and drinks were spectacular. I think it’s a fair assumption it is the best restaurant in and around Nan. Nan is a quant, not yet overly touristy destinations in Thailand. You can rent a car from there too with hotel pick up. It was a lovely get away from busy Bangkok with my 4 year old.

From beginning to end of our 3 night stay during a Thai public holiday, my wife & I felt the service standard of Nan Seasons Boutique Resort's staff was especially commendable, across all aspects of its operations—friendly yet highly professional, capable & responsive, sincerely concerned without being intrusive. Our compliments to the owner/management that the team reflects a sincere ‘guest first & foremost’ attitude that is top tier. As seasoned global travelers, in our opinion they've matched up very well, service wise, against some famed 5/6-star luxury properties around the world (though certainly without their pretensions). Overall, the small resort has a rustic look & feel (not in any bad way) offering quite basic facilities, yet all was quite suitable & adequate in its tranquil, rural location, & the slow-life vibe of Nan itself. The resort is outside Nan city limits, with no other amenities nearby; though access by car to city center is convenient & quick enough (beware of the cows walking on the road). Our country/Lanna-rustic style one-bedroom villa (villa #6) was clean & cozily comfortable, & most everything was operating in satisfactory order (apart from a fiddly bathroom water heater). Important to us this particular villa was sited in such a way to allow complete privacy & serenity (its outdoor terrace being especially relaxing, with unobstructed views overlooking lush native vegetation & working rice fields, & amid intermittent sound of a burbling irrigation canal). Above all, we were pleasantly satisfied with the good value versus price calculus of this room type (having paid 2.5-3x more for similar accommodations at renowned resorts in larger northern Thai cities like CNX or CEI, we say what's not to like). The room price included a la carte breakfast. Such meals were 'made to order' though for certain items, orders are to be placed the evening before. The breakfast menu offers straight forward food choices (western & Thai range) seemingly with something for everyone, & dishes are prepared with care & quality ingredients, & plated & presented in such a way that reflects genuine pride. What was quite satisfying was the bed & breakfast inn style emotional aura of our enjoying a leisurely, quiet breakfast at a friend or relatives’ home. Charming, too, was being offered cold refreshments on our return from the day’s activities, or hot tea before retiring for the evening. Simple, hospitable, proactive services like these are comforting gestures. All in all, a delightful stay for our short holiday. We will keep this property top of mind on any future visits to Nan. Indeed, we shall recommend Nan Seasons Boutique Resort to others, as a comfortable choice in a beautiful & serene setting, offering gracious hospitality & high-level guest centric service. Bravo!

We had a great time at this beautiful and peaceful Resort in Nan. Located in a superb site outside the city of Nan, still very close if going by one of the 2 bridges that take us to the city. Once you make the booking, you will never guess or imagine the place where this resort is located...in the middle of the rainforest, driving a main road (coming from Nan), you'll turn right and then...Nature rules! If the photos that we see on the Resort website and internet show us the tranquility, harmony and happiness of the place, imagine what you'll feel when you arrive! Beautifully designed and decorated bungalows (actually there are 9), all are very spacious with a large bathroom. Our bungalow (nr 6) faces the rice fields and the mountains - the greeeeeeeen mountains! Inside you have everything you need for your stay, such as: bathroom amenities (shampoo, shower gel and conditioner) - all of them are organic and very smooth, from local organic farms. A hairdryer is also available. The shower is superb! A huge bed with a super soft matress and super comfy pillows, your sleep will be as in heaven like ours were! :-) An amazing terrace-balcony in front of our room, from which we can acceed through the sliding glassy doors. And Nature is right there, around us...Great pool surrounded by the impressive greens and cuddled by the music of the local birds. I have to speak about the staff because all of them are so nice, polite, friendly. I'll start with the hosts that are extremely polite, generously attentive to the guests and they always go beyond our expectations with the aim of looking the smile in our faces. The housekeeping staff are super professional and the cleanliness of the bungalow and the entire areas of this resort is exceptionally good. In straight contact with the Nature, here we are able to create new games to play while relaxing anywhere around. . . About the foods, this resort has an exquisite chef and this is something I can shout out loud: The food is very very very very good! Arroy mak! Lam tê-tê! There is a large menu from which we can choose our dish or delicacy. Also, for wine lovers, there is a large wine list also, with wines from other countries. I will not write about this because I simply don't drink alcohol. We have tried several foods and all of them are a call to paradise :-) Breakfast is a plus at this Resort. You can choose what you want to eat from a wide range of organic options of eggs, rice, noodles, vegetarian options, organic fruit jams - all of them HOMEMADE at the Resort. The gardens of the Resort are full with Natural gifts that you can also enjoy and taste! The exquisite Butterfly Flower Tea is definitely something you must try. Something you won't find in Europe or America...it is local, it is organic, it is special. Wake up everyday with the sounds of Nature is taking us out of the modern world and this is definitely a throw back to the simple, quiet and slow life. Time here seems stagnant! So much to do and still so many time to live after sunset :-) One of the best Small Boutique Resorts we have ever been to in Thailand. If you plan to visit Nan (and it really worth your visit) think about staying at this pearl gem! We planned 5 nights here but...the night we arrived we added 14 nights more! Super highly recommended!
