I spent one night there on a mountain bike trip. It's nice and clean, recently renovated and has a decent view (not breathtaking, but still pretty good). The rooms feel large, with plenty of space around the bed. I'm globally pleased with my stay there. If you're looking for a place for dinner, the owner can recommend a very nice... More

I visit santikhiri often for the fresh air and cool temperatures. Although i live znd love chiangmai, its nice to have a clean and quiet escape just a few hours north. As my usual retreat is to " little home "(exceptional ),they are in the last days of renovation so i found baan sue sue 50 meters awsy.. great ,unobstructed... More

This is a nice place to stay. The owner is very friendly & talkative. The new building has a fantastic outlook & although the fog was too heavy to see the sunrise, the view the previous evening was spectacular. We enjoyed a 20 baht hot cocoa in the restaurant. No air conditioning was provided which we think is great because... More

We drove into Mae Salong and decided to stay here, we were able to view the room first which was just stunning and so cheap! The room was spotless and so big oas well, shower had the best pressure we've seen in Thailand! The hotel is all made of concrete and the furniture is all wooden so it has a... More

Am a bit confused as to pricing as Agoda says $167 a night ... this is the Agoda window on Trip Advisor. We paid 600 Baht a night in the new section which is effectively a large concrete guest house overlooking the original cottages. This new section had just been completed and with a coat of paint would come up... More

I live in Chiang Mai and have stayed at this guesthouse three times. Remember, hotels in Thailand are like a box of chocolates -- you never know what you're going to get. So I like this one because you can walk two blocks to the morning market for tribal people at 6:30am, explore the town in either direction, and also... More

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice view, great value for money, helpful info about local trekking and bus connections. Rooms serviced each day, hot shower, big bed, real mattress. Breakfast available and terrace bar area for drinks after a long day walking.

In the heart of Mae Slong Village, handy to most sites via foot, small rooms, hot water was really only luke warm which made it a quick shower but beds were comfortable. Owners very friendly and rates were reasonable.

This is a very popular place though mostly for one night. The rooms are fine but a bit spartan with the bedroom area better than the bathroom. The concrete design and the metal mugs do give the feel of shades of Ronnie Barker and Porridge! However, it is a perfectly good one night stop with the owners friendly enough. It... More
