Just stayed at the Village Inn, simple rooms , but clean and tidy. Has everything you need for overnight stay. Very good value at £45 per night including a tasty breakfast. The staff are all very helpful and polite as well which is a real bonus these days.

When I first arrived at the Village I was welcommed by a friendly host, then found my room was a very interesting chalet! A well fiited room with a very cosy double bed, a lovely shower room and as quiet as mice! The shower it'self was a lovely hot shower, ideal for freshening up after a long drive!

I have taken coach outings to the Village Inn before and always had excellent service and food, yesterday 11/07/2016 was quite a last minute booking as we were let down by a restaurant, we had 31 people including the driver, not only were we accommodated but the service and food could not have been better. Thank you John and all... More

Apparently if you require a gluten free breakfast it has to be pre booked and indicated when booking..... no mention of this on the website..... Good location, good food, attentive staff however.... cash up front, cutting corners, and limited menu let this place down.... Ok, but not great.

On the 30th June 2016 our Association had arranged a Trip to Northallerton Market and lunch at the Village Inn Brompton. We had wall to wall rain and were pretty damp when we arrived at the Village Inn for our "Fish and Chip Lunch for 25 people. We had magnificent "Whale" with lovely crispy batter, lovely tastey fat chips, and... More

We stayed here on the home from Scotland, and it was very nice, comfy family room and good value. Food was excellent, we have friends in the village who use it a lot. Only slight downside was a long wait at breakfast time, but not a big issue. Recommended.

We booked this Hotel for the location, the reviews and because some rooms had a bath. It is one of the things my wife needs and so it is important. On arrival we found our room had only a shower and then discovered that only one room at the Hotel had a bathroom. Who was to blame was not an... More
