The campsite was lovely, the facilities are clean and the staff friendly. Well located for London, Brighton. Could possibly offer a kids play park. There are picnic tables around which can be moved and used and a fire pit which is also offered for campers. Good value for money. We will be returning to longacres.

Great Camping site. First time I have been camping for 20 years. I was struggling with the tent because it was new but another camper spotted it and put us straight. Lovely walk to the nearby wiremill pub past the horse paddocks where you can feed the horses on route. Takes 10 minutes. Very clean bathroom and showers. Reception was very organised and helpful. Definitely come again.

Nice site, ok facilities, showers either cold or no water pressure, and you have to pay, tbf we did get our 50ps back when we had issues. Quite expensive compared to over similar sites, and beware of the overhead planes. At times was like being at the end of the runway at Gatwick!!

Visited this site many times and always found that there was a good welcome and the Pitches were of a size to allow some space around the Caravan . Lots of countryside around there so walking was varied. The Weekends Vary in how busy but as yet never felt as if it was over crowded . The toilets and Showers (50p for shower) were spotless. for those who do not want to cook there is many options within the area plus there is occasional Mobile caterers . The site is under a Gatwick flight path but the aircraft noise was not affecting our stays at all . Over all will we go back that's a big YES

On arrival we were impressed by the manicured lawns and gardens at the front of the site. As we had been emailed precise instructions where to find our pitch we drove strait to it and parked up as instructed. Post Bank Holiday there were only two pitches in use in our area. Again lovely greenery but Im sorry to say we felt that this site let's itself down. The huge number of permanent pitches make the site look shabby and felt like we were camping amongst a small business site as nestled amongst garages, storage areas, overflowing bins, messy grey water disposals (I really didn't want to move the lid) and a strange assortment of lorrys and vans driving through felt a bit uncomfortable. Which was surprising having read previous reviews, slow recovery from school holidays maybe? On a positive note, lots of hot water for 50p in the showers which, considering the small number of campers were a bit mucky looking. There are Lovely country walks all around the site which I would love to explore more. The local pub looked amazing sat at a lakeside (one for another time) This could be a fab site with just a little TLC and some kind of customer service. A friendly face goes a long way.

We had the best time time at long acres. The staff were attentive as soon as we pulled up. The site is clean and tidy and easy to access everything you need. Lots of places to walk on your door step too. We had a one year old and a ten year old and there is plenty of places to visit near by including priory farm estate and godstone farm. Highly recommend.

Had a Great Bank Hoilday break away at Long Acres. We booked late, so took our gamble, and this one paid off. Staff was so helpful, got us a pitch with in minutes , really could not fault anything really. We was in our motorhome, so didnt use the toilet facilities, however I always have a little look, and they all seems clean and well maintained. Great pub as you walk through the back fields, about 10min walk, over looks a large lake. Food and beers, with table service, id advise pre-booking a meal, as we was advised, however we did get a table and got servered with out booking, so maybe we was lucky. On the entrance we did see a pub down the road, haha, which we walked down to about 10min walk, well it looks like a pub, even has a pub sign outside, after looking throiugh the window haha, we realised its somebody house , which we did laugh at. Lucky we didnt walk in and take a seat, now that woukld of been a hoot. I woould say, this site is a good hiub to venture out from, or if you want to book a flight from Gatwick, and to be honest we was in Brighton with in 40mins.

Thank you so much to everyone at Long Acres Camping. From booking to arrival it was smooth and very easy and useful information sent - thank you reception team. We stayed in the Beach Shack which was just incredible especially as it was our first time glamping. We are a family with two younger children and we all just relaxed. We met some lovely people in the pods next to us and all of the other guests were so friendly. You have to visit to see how lovely it is! The staff are really lovely and work incredibly hard to ensure everyone has everything that they need. The facilities are clean and modern. The site is well maintained and looked great! There is so much to do locally so didn't need to travel far - Hever Castle, Godstone Farm, Wildlife Centre and so much more. On a Friday night there is a cocktail van, Saturday a pizza van and ice cream came a few times. We will definitely be back without a doubt!
