Visited with my other half to celebrate our anniversary. Having already visited here many times before, with both decided to try something new on the menu, and neither of us were disappointed. Everything they serve seems to be of the highest quality. Can definitely recommend.

Having booked in we sat next to the canal in the sun to eat our lunch, very relaxing. Later after having a fab jacuzzi in our open plan room we ate in the restaurant with a lovely meal then followed by drinks again by the canal. Lovely big bed and a peaceful night

Without doubt this is a beautiful location alongside the canal, with plenty of outside seating. Themed on an old style village, with olde worlde shops & themed entertainment, it is a very relaxing atmosphere. Two eating venues are available, traditional Italian or pub grub in Old Nells. We tried both over the course of a long weekend. The Italian restaurant... More

This is a fantastic 'ye olde' setting, perfect for large groups on holiday. The village is situated on the banks of a canal, with a large restaurant and 24 hour pub for residents on site. There is also a cricket and bowls club around the corner. There are plenty of rooms available to be booked, our room was big enough... More

The room was slightly dated but it blended in with the theme, it was spacious & bright, walls were very thin tho (we could hear next door conversation) Staff were friendly enough. we manage to sit in the bar & have something o eat. great place, great atmosphere. Love love Loved the jacuzzi

Pleasant stay welcoming staff and great value for money. Nice clean spacious room. The grounds softly lit up in the evening and are very well kept. The food was really nice and I particularly liked the Old English style. My daughters where pleased with the entertainment and we look forward to the next festival.

The first impression on arriving was marred by very heavy rain. The hamlet is 'kitsch' but in a nice way. Rooms are in blocks on a motel style. Ours was very worn and dated, but the other couple we were with had a refurbished room which was lovely. We took advantage of the Friday Feeling deal which meant we had... More
