We stopped on a Sunday night. We were given a £20 meal voucher, breakfast was included and we even got a free paper, to which the host wouldn't take no for an answer. Bed was comfortable and very big. The walls however seemed quite thin however it did not cause us an issue at night. Overall I would say the... More

Went for a walk with our dogs and decided to have lunch out. It was a glorious day and a beautiful setting close to the canal. The food was good without being special. The cask beer was very good. A lovely day out enjoyed by all.

Such a shame this places food can let it down, they give things like chicken burgers are different names and then serve you a cheap burger I could of made myself better and it's not cheap, so many better places to eat but not as good as this location, with the right chef and management this place could be so... Best thing about this place is the location absolutely beautiful canal side . Rooms have recently been done up and are actually quiet nice and for the price not bad. Problems are the place gets heaving and the staff struggle to cope . Go early to eat the food is however good

We stayed here for my niece's 21st party having last been here just before she was born! What a change. We entered the room to a revolting smell of damp and smoke. The bathroom floor was the dirtiest I have ever encountered in any hotel. Never again.

Another great weekend spent here. Always a good experience with friendly staff and great service. The food is always good even though it does get busy itt is always served quickly and cooked well. Left the car there and got the bus into Preston for the day and a taxi back was only 16 pounds. Went into garstang last time... More

Visiting as a large family group to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Was in an upstairs room in Guys. The service was slow and clumsy. Orders were mixed up. Drinks orders were also wrong. The room itself and the furniture looked like it needed a good clean. The waiter was helpful enough but had limited English. The food was just about... More

Definitely would recommend! Nice quaint place with plenty of character! Lively bar with nice busy atmosphere. Italian cuisine with plenty of choice. Pizza's are beautiful. Definitely recommend. Service also very good. Nice to sit outside on a good day with plenty of outside tables. We'll definitely be back.
