A truly lovely place to visit, excellent menu and really great staff and host. This was our third visit and a trip advisor prompt today reminded me to write this review for this local pub/restaurant .... recommended this place many times to family and friends since our visits and we are just planning our pre-Chirstmas Sunday lunch visit. Thank you

We stayed at the Bull Inn for just one night and everything lived up to our expectations – friendly and helpful staff (including the landlord), nice sized bedroom, comfortable bed, plenty of towels and toiletries, everywhere clean and tidy, very peaceful setting, good quality evening meal (restaurant fayre rather than ‘pub grub’), fine full English breakfast. We couldn’t find fault... More

enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Bull. Comfortable beds, great service, excellent local produce, pigeon, venison, rabbit, and much more. Well located for great walks, beautiful church and thatched houses in the village. Check out the old stocks.

Today my family a party of 15 lunched at The Bull Inn, we had an excellent meal all choosing different items off the menu. The food was presented beautifully and served by a very pleasant waitress. We look forward to our next visit there.

Having grown up in the 'old village pub' days and then moving to California 30 years ago, things have changed quite a lot. To survive, the old pubs have gone to renting out bedrooms, serving more of sit down meal while still trying to keep the locals happy.... not easy to get it all right! I believe under the current... Booked this pub/hotel a good few weeks ago for an anniversary treat and must say was a little disappointed with the room for what we paid. The glass on the bed side table wasn't clean - all sticky, the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly I had to clean with toilet paper, the glass shelf over the sink was dirty obviously... More

The Bull is a lovely restaurant. Much more than a pub. It is in a lovely village and really to me it is a brilliant special occasion/destination restaurant. The menu is stunning. The service is great. If you want a nice upmarket meal with friends or family then I would recommend booking at The Bull

We called in here on Sunday 22 June on what was a beautiful hot sunny day while out driving in the countryside. We have not visited The Bull Inn for a number of years and were unaware it had been refurbished. We arrived at just before mid day and no one else was in the pub. First impressions were good... I've had better burgers at five star hotels that have been cheaper, better value and much more delicious than this. Actually, if the burger had been delicious, I would have forgiven it's paucity (child-size (actually, my 9-year old son would not have been satisfied)) or greyness all the way through. But it wasn't. Pub food at fancy hotel prices -... More
