Stefano and Elisabeth have created a very special and unique place at their agriturismo in the hills north of Rome. Located on an organic farm with ancient olive groves and Roman ruins, guests get to experience a part of rural Italy away from the tourist trail, yet hosted by a dynamic and global young family enterprise and their WWOOFer helpers.... Elizabeth and Stefano open their lovely agriturismo to walkers, families and other travelers eager to get off the beaten path. What they've created is a truly special place - a beautiful property with panoramic views, a delicious vegetarian restaurant serving a four course meal nightly, and a comfortable inn. We traveled to Mompeo with our kids, 3 and 5. They... More

Stefano and Elizabeth are the friendly hosts of this beautifully situated little establishment. Stefano's enthusiasm about his olive grove and the Roman excavation on his property are infectious. Stefano is a passionate exponent of regional Italian food and cooks fresh vegetarian meals every night for his guests. You can watch and even help while he explains what and why he's... More

Staying at le Mole sur Farfa was the perfect ending of a hiking trip that started at Labro six days earlier. Stefano is a wunderfull host and cook. We didn't meet Elisabath, but Stefana and the voluntairs made le Mole feel home away from home. Good wine and great food!

Stefano and his wife Elizabeth run a perfect agriturismo, perched on the side of the valley outside Mompeo. The accommodation is simple but effective; the vegetarian food is excellent. Stefano even made me a gluten-free loaf of bread as I am coeliac. Many of the visitors, mostly British, German, Dutch and Belgian in the spring and autumn, are walkers using... More

We stayed two nights as part of a weeklong walk in the Sabine Hills. Stefan and his woofers could not have been more welcoming. The organic, vegetarian meals were of the highest quality. The setting and the views were spectacular. Stefano's tour of his ancient olive grove and Roman villa site were a highlight of our trip.

From the moment we arrived until the early morning departure, everything was amazing. Stefano and Elisabeth exude warm hospitality and let you discover the beauty of this area and their place. At the end of our last day, Stefano provided a tour for us and other guests of the Casa Romano discovered under the shepherd's cottage and the ancient olive... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a recent hiking holiday in the Sabine Hills. The property is beautifully situated near the Farfa Gorge. Our room was spacious and comfortable and our host, Stefano, was extremely helpful and accommodating. The meals were really spectacular, particularly the multi-course dinners, which included beautifully prepared vegetables and home-made pastas. Stefano... More

This is an absolutely perfect place to relax in perfect peace after walking in the beautiful Sabine Hills. Stephano is a wonderful host, his commitment to his farm, food and preserving the tradition and history of the area is infectious. The evening meals and wine were exceptional, some of the best food I have eaten.

Not only is this a lovely place with wonderful views but the people are great, warm and welcoming. Stefano's enthusiasm and desire to ensure his guests have a memorable experience is second to none. We stayed two nights, and had some of the best meals ever. Everything was freshly prepared by Stefano and although not vegetarians, the lack of meat... More
