A hotel 800 meters far from the Pousada do Rio Quente Resort. Have to go by bus, available at 20 minutes interval, due to high season, always crowded. Hotel accommodations good and quite large rooms, but very weak internal lighting, Few and not well trained employees. Simple requests can take several minutes to be arranged. Located downtown making it easier...

Rio Quente is a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in relaxing in its hot waters. Although, to be honest, for its price point, it may not be entirely worth it, in my honest opinion. The exchange rate for me made it a bit cheaper, but a Brazilian friend of mine told me staying a week at...

It is the most wunderful place for families with children. All the pools are with warm waters and there are pools for every age. Take bathing suits, camera (when possible, one that can take pictures under water). And they have a bus for the Hot Park, a park with warm waters and water slides. Owesome!

A pia do banheiro estava entupida. Foi pedida e...

Most people enjoy Rio Quente Resort due to "Hot Park", a water park as good as the best in the country with the advatage that the water is deliciously hot. For people of my age (58) and up staying at the resort, it has also another Park called "Springs Park" (Parque das Fontes), several natural swimming pools, two of them...

This is the best water park in Brazil, plus various types of hotels around, best entertainment day and night! I went 10 or more years ago, for many years, every Israel Week. I went to play keyboards and direct the music, but had the best time of fun!

I used to go to this hotel when I was younger, with my parents and for a long time, I haven't been there again. The hotel has become a resort complex and both accomodations and attractions are really good. I stayed at Cristal Hotel (one of the three hotels inside the complex) which is the newest one, but I had...

Oh, well....a bit pricier than the next city ( Caldas Novas) but ten times better. The food, the crew, the ambience, the guests....it's hard to not have a perfect time in that place. I would go 3 times every year if I could. Gorgeous scenario !

There are 3 hotels in the complex (pousada, turismo and cristal). The turismo is the best cost x benefit option. It has decent (not renovated) rooms. The restaurant is a lot better than the pousada’s one, considering menu, noise and the space. On Saturdays there is a very good feijoda there. The cristal hotel is the new fancy and expense...

“The resort has several hotels, three of them inside and three outside. If one stays outside, every 20 minutes a bus takes one to the resort (no more than 10 minutes) drive. So, choose the hotel that best fits your budget and choose rooms according to your taste.”
of 5 bubbles Rsncosta, Jul 1, 2013 | Read review
“Choose a hotel OUTSIDE the resort, they are newer. If you have people in your group with a hard time to walk, get a hotel inside the resort, or closer.”
of 5 bubbles SilvianeS, Nov 9, 2012 | Read review
“Stay in the hotels within the complex (Pousada, Turismo and Cristal) as the time it takes to get to the complex X the poor quality of the services of the other hotels justify paying a little bit more to avoid frustration. It is very time demanding to go in and out of the Resort. If you forget something in your room, it means that you'll have to go to one of the 2 bus stops, hop on, go to your hotel, do whatever you have to do, wait for the next bus to arrive, collect other people, etc. If you stay in the Pousada, for example, it is a matter to go up to your room and sort whatever you need to sort. In case you have children, they can stay in your room and you'll not be away from them during evening activities (the hotel offers baby sitting upon previous request).”
