Waipoua Lodge is outstanding on every level, from the accommodation to the setting, to the food, to the warm hospitality. One of those very rare places where a stay here will stay with you forever. An absolute Must Visit if travelling on the north isle of NZ.

Thank you for your lovely review and we are delighted that you enjoyed the food and wine at the lodge. Being located in a remote area, there is no other choice of restaurant or cafe at which to dine, so great cuisine is obviously a crucial part of what we offer. Kindest regards Ian & Fran More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for the night with Ian and Fran as part of a self-drive holiday. The food was fantastic as well as the quality and presentation of the accommodation. Ian and Fran went out of their way to make us welcome and make our brief stay a very pleasurable one

We stayed at Waipoua Lodge only one night (unfortunately), our first night of a trip to New Zealand. And it certainly set the pace for a beautiful vacation. All is up to the best possible standards, from the room, to the garden, to the comfortable and amazing common spaces. And all is so evidently permeated by Fran and Ian passion... More
