Lovely place, interiors, owners, location - everything was surely far beyond expectations. Stayed for four nights, family of four with two smaller children and everyone enjoyed it (asked the older one what was the best with the overall trip so far and got the answer "The hotel. And Ninjago world at Legoland". Pretty impressive considering lots of fun stuff to... More

Are you tired of large plastic hotels where you cannot tell the difference between them? The Klithjem Badehotel in western Denmark has personal charm and is set a sand dune away from the best beaches in northern Europe. The rooms are impeccably clean and the beds comfortable. There are different varieties of rooms. We always take a larger room. Breakfast... More

This is our second visit (2 weeks) to this hotel as our first (3 days) was perfect. We find nothing to fault this time either. Calm and restful with the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. Breakfast with everything you need. Comfortable beds and CLEAN! We also have to say that the dinners in the hotel are the... More

A superb small hotel. The Owners could not do enough for us, the evening meal was delicious and served in a beautiful dining area by friendly staff. Breakfast also was excellent as were the bedrooms. Could not fault and would certainly stay again. Perfect beach location for ferry terminal at Esjberg and also for touring the South Jutland area. Thank... More

We stayed at Klithjem Badehotel July 2,3 & 4th, 2013. We spend about 90 days a year traveling in Europe & the U.K. Our stay experience at Klithjem is the kind we hope for but rarely find. The hotel is in top condition (remodeled) and spotlessly clean, built in the 20's it has old style charm and there is plenty... More

If you want to relaxe and enjoy the wonderful nature of the North Sea you couldn't make a better choise than staying at Klithjem. The ambience is cosy, the owners very friedndly and helpfull and the food is delicious. Not two rooms are similar, and the hotel is very charming. I would definitely stay here again!

A small hotel in Vejers Strand, directly located at the north sea. We were there during our holiday trip. The interior of the hotel and the rooms is romantic in Scandinavian style (yes, indeed, if you are familiar with the products of a well known Swedish furniture store you will recognize some pieces but it fits). The rooms are nice... More

Klithjem the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Denmark. The main reason for this is the warmth of the owners, but not far behind that is the cozyness, the sense of being in a windswept, historical place connected to nature, the idyllic and well-kept decor and the cleanliness of the rooms. I really can't fault this place. The... More

This small hotel is newly renovated by the new owners. The rooms and the public areas are typically Danish design and well functioning. The public area include a bar and a TV corner. The food is tasty and modern. The fantastic nature of the west coast is just outside the door. The hotel a very good choice for an outdoor family... More

We (family with small children) stayed a few nights here to discover this very nice location and beautiful small hotel close to the beach. The owners are really focusing on keeping everything clean, yet I could not avoid the feeling than German pensioners are the preferred guests over families. Our kids behaved very nicely (no running around, no shouting) but... More
