This is a good beach Hotel but the rooms were basic ( but clean) with good cupboard space but had a musty smell. comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. There is a Church very close which has loud services but we were not disturbed. There is also building work going on on the next plot of land...

My husband and I stayed at the Travancore with my parents for one week. We found it very good value for money, the rooms were everything one would require and we had a great view of the ocean down at the bottom. The food was fantastic, super fresh and tasty. We found the staff very friendly and with it being...

We stayed here for 3 nights for some beach time at the end of a long holiday when all we wanted to do was relax and not get into a car. It is a bigger resort than I expected but it is a calm place to stay and the grounds are very well maintained. Our room was higher up, well...

The resort is spread across some acres of land and in two levels of which one level is about 40 or 50 feet below the main reception level. This is accessed by an elevator or steps. Majority of the rooms are as cottages with Kerala style architecture. There are lot of trees and plants inter-laid with patches of grassy lawns. It...

Small village/HUGE noise. Beautiful buildings, beautiful outlook if you're top of cliff. Just spent a very painful time from 4am to 8pm exposed to what seems to be religious sound wars from neighbouring churches blasting out sermons/electronic bells/singing/music at extremely high volume. On raising this issue the response was 'noise? What noise?' It may be that different rooms have a...

This place is lovely and serene with rooms overlooking the ocean, two pools, and an aruvedic treatment center. The rooms are large but basic. The food in the main restaurant is relatively good and buffet style in the mornings and evenings. It's not advertised, but beer is available in the seafood restaurant next to the pool. The massages cost approx....

The hotel itself is pleasant as are the staff but sadly the concept that it is a hotel where you can relax and unwind after touring parts of India is mis-marketing. The bells of the local chapel start at 04:00 in the morning and by 04:30 the full service begins. The service is blasted out through loud speakers that would...

My wife and I stayed for three nights at the end of our six week tour of India. At first we were disappointed with the upper pool which is a bit small and quite shallow in places, but the lower pool by the beach was ideal. Good size and depth. We tried to book in for a massage, but all...

As the name suggests its a heritage resort. 20 kilometres from Trivandrum and 6 kilometers from Kovalam Beach it is located in a village called Chowara. The resort has a combination of cottages and rooms overlooking the Arabian Sea. There are two swiming pools that are well maintained. The resort has its own private beach although you have to walk...
