We had such a great time ! The welcoming and the professionalism of all the team was outstanding. The accomodation is incredible. The food at their restaurant is delicious, made with fresh local products. A special mention for the private cooking class that we took and for the olive oil tasting experience and explanation that was done with a lot of passion. We definetely recommend and we will surely be back.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Lotrivi Boutique Pension.

The exteriors of this hotel complex are beautiful. The surrounding panorama of nature (particularly views of the reliefs, among the olive trees and other lemon trees) is superb. The room is large and furnished with respect for the identity of the region (perhaps however a little too rustic for our taste...).

However, we regretted that the bedding was not very comfortable (too firm) and that there was only one pillow per person, too thin...

Excellent breakfast served in a superb setting, on beautiful tables covered with white tablecloths. A special mention for the service staff, very professional and attentive.

Excellent experience about olive oil, its production in a fantastic environment. I enjoyed the explanations and the tasting of the different oils and spreads. They do honor a fantastic tradition of Greek healthy way of living shared with the world

The wine and olive oil tour was simply amazing. The olive oils were delicious and we learned so much about the process. Konstantina was so knowledgeable and was very hospitable. The dinner service was also perfect. Will absolutely come again.
Thank you Konstantina

Spent 3 nights there, we were not looking to stay in a luxury hotel but since its name (and price!) suggested something out of the ordinary we thought we'd try it. Immediately we found that it is nothing but average studios set on 2 levels (one studio on each level). The management has done a very clever job marketing it as something very special which is what we thought we were paying for when we booked it. It is by no means neither a "mansion" nor a "boutique" hotel! The rooms are small with an inconvenient layout and minimal storage so open just one suitcase and chaos prevails in the room! The difference between what they call the "rustic suite" (apparently all the upstairs rooms) and the standard rooms (70 Euros difference!!) is just the little balcony and the furniture quality of the main bed and minus the kitchenette which is only available downstairs. Any extra beds are standard sofa beds. The desk/dresser is separate from the mirror so no proper dressing area anywhere. The internet connection was practically non-existent, the shower temperature could not be adjusted alternating from hot to cold while using the shower. At one point the municipality had a water cut all morning until 12 noon and there was no water available anywhere! One would have thought that when a hotel charges that much for their rooms they would have catered for such basic issues such water cuts by installing a water tank but no these people have not. The location is convenient provided that you travel and explore the nearby areas but not if you want to stay in a hotel where you don't have to move much or expect to walk among other people with nearby amenities and sea views. Above all, I was shocked with the poor level of customer care and their arrogance. When the management received our reviews privately, they dismissed all our comments by replying that "since the majority of their reviews is excellent, they do not have to deal with or answer to our issues". Overall, it is just an average hotel and it is way overpriced for its real category. As a greek tourist I feel robbed and had I known, I would have simply booked another average room for half the price!

Liotrivi is an accommodation which I can highly recommend to those who want a quality accommodation experience close to Monemvasia. Exceptional stone structures with all the comforts framed by a beautiful olive grove. Breakfast and lunches served in the beautiful courtyard and all the foods are made of quality local products. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel like home. Especially Daniella who made us a tour at the facilities and introduced us to the history of the area. She prepares excellent pastries, jams, homemade bread etc The space generally gives you a sense of calm and relaxation, but also feel like you live a bit of the history of the place, since during the years it was headquarter (pashas house during the Tourkokraty years), then the mansion belonged to Giannis Ritsos (our greatest poet) family, traditional oil press (which still preserved in excellent condition) and now a wonderful place to stay during your visit to this amazing region of Peloponnese. Monemvasia is close - 10 minutes by car and also saves the hassle and the unreasonably high prices of Monemvasia hotels. In addision it is a very good location as a base for excursions to the surrounding areas (do not miss Elafonissos!) In my next visit in the region, I would certainly chose Liotrivi for my stay without second thought!

In a calm area, very close to Monemvasia and in a large olive plantation where the famous Greek poetry Ritsos was passing his summers the full experiance was marvelus.
Special breakfast with local delicious tastes. Very close to a little village Agios Nikolaos where the local taverna of Giannis offer a special hand made fresh pasta "gogles"( MUST TO TASTE THAT).
Every day in Liotrivi, was a happy surprise. And the "hart of the Hotel" Danilla was always there to serve the customers with a big trully smile.

Me and my wife we will not forget that.

Fantastic piece of history kept alive by the passion and hard work of his young and competente owner Christos. Wine, oil, soaps, honey etc. all excellent. Loved this visit, take time to go. You can just visit or stay in his hotel. He has a restaurant as well. It takes a bit of time to get there but the road is so nice all between old olive trees and fig trees and vineyards .

Our first experience of 'To Liotrivi' was in 2016 during a shore excursion whilst enjoying a 'Seabourn' cruise. The location spoke to us and we decided to return in 2017 specifically to stay several nights and visit this part of Laconia. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. Our apartment was large, perhaps 30 square metres, well equipped with a very large and very comfortable bed with super soft linen. The bathroom was slightly on the small side but with a shower, sink and WC and good quality soaps and gels. A sitting area faced the large flat screen TV, unfortunately only Greek language programmes. The fridge was well stocked with sodas, beers and local wines. A south easterly facing balcony had comfortable chairs and a table inviting long sessions of reading with a glass of chilled wine to hand, also providing colourful views of morning sunrises. We frequently took dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed Daniella's interpretation of traditional dishes, always delightfully served by a smiling Rafaela or Nissi, Breakfasts and dinners were always served al fresco, the daily temperatures being around 32° although inside the old olive oil mill are tables for diners on cooler occasions. We finally left with tears in our eyes, the warmth and friendliness of the staff had been unlimited during our stay. Totally relaxed after having bathed in the peacefulness of Laconia.
