We had a great experience at this peaceful bed and breakfast. Silvio is a fantastic host. He welcomed us with enthusiasm and warmth, and some great limocello. He gave us a good orientation to the area, and the next morning showed us around his place, telling us about the oranges and kumquats and garden. Warm, cozy rooms, and a wonderful... More

You can't ask for a more charming hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated, very comfortable and clean. You can see at first sight that this place is run by owners who care and who want their guests to enjoy their stay. They are always there to help and give tips on restaurants or things to see in the area. The... More

We are so pleased that the owners of Palazzo Giovanni. Silvio and Alessandra, have managed to keep their busy B&B meticulously maintained in excellent condition with the same love that they had in 2009, the first time that we were their guests. The Sicilian charm and character has also improved as the car park / citrus tree garden has been... More

As already mentioned in the other comments, this might be one of the best places to stay around the Etna. Clean, cousy rooms, awesome breakfast on the roof top terrace as well as the very kind owner are the reasons to stay here. We would always stay here again and recommend this place to everyone who prefers an authentic b&b... More

Just what you want from a B & B. Silvio, the owner, really cares. The breakfasts on the terrace (after negotiating the 100 year old spiral staircase) was sensational. Fresh orange juice using oranges grown by Silvio, filled croissants and pastries to die for. The view from our bedroom was straight onto Mount Etna.

I highly recommend this B&B which is located in an old palace near Acireale. The owner, Silvio, is very friendly and chatty and gave us lots of precious tips for restaurants and excursions. As it was bad weather, breakfast could not be served on the terrace as usual, but we were given a generous vouchers for a nearby cafe where... More

Palazzo Giovanni is a grand mansion surrounded by citrus groves in a little village close to Acireale. Palazzo Giovanni in my opinion is exactly how a bed and breakfast should be: nice, clean and cosy facilities, completely home-cooked breakfast (from the fresh squeezed orange juice to the marmelades made with the owners' citrus grove) and friendly hospitality. Silvio and his... More

Beautiful location and the rooms are gorgeous. The breakfast is amazing, especially the home made lemon-jam. And the balcony/garden where you have your breakfast and can relax is just perfect. Silvio is the most friendly, helpfull and enthousiastic Sicilian we have met in our two week trip in Sicily. We will never forget his motto: Supersicilia! Thank you for having... More

Palazzo Giovanni offered us elegant accommodation at a very reasonable price. As mentioned in previous reviews, views from the terrace are inviting, the location of the house is quiet and there is ample free private parking directly across the road. WiFi was only available at the Reception and common areas and not in our room but this was not a... More
